For privacy's sake, I'm choosing to reference my girlfriend as L, her dad as J, and her mom as M. L and I went to the same college program this fall, where I was a junior and her a senior. Due to mental health reasons, I dropped out after that fall. L and I lived about an hour away while she was home on weekends and breaks, and 2 while she was at school. We decided to make it work, and are approaching 6 months. J and M have never been the fondest of me, but I brushed it off as them not wanting to interfere in our relationship. There have been a few incidents that J and M have led to asking L my gender. One day J saw the outline of my binder, which became a huge ordeal. L reassured M (who brought up what J saw) that it was just a tank top and I was not a girl. Recently, L and I have been having our own separate issues that I'm not interested in delving into but this led to us taking a break of sorts for the summer to help her prioritize her mental health. I want to note I'm extremely proud of her for this and for expressing it to me. This specific issue arises over the weekend. Sunday, I suggested we get dinner and then hang out Monday. L said she'd have to ask J and M, as most of the approvals revolve around M's work schedule. M seemed heavily annoyed upon L asking, but she let us get dinner Sunday. We ended up only being allowed to spend about 3 hours together, which was frustrating but whatever. Every plan I made continued to be shot down, and finally I just kind of gave up on trying to make plans and told L she needed to do the plan-making. Well, as a result of my frustration, L told me she found out why M was angry. M had texted L, "I would like for you to stop seeing "him"... because I know." Of course, this scared L and now I'm stuck in this awkward position where I'm upset at myself because I'd been trying my best to hide it while trying to keep L comfortable. I'm not really sure what to do, and I guess I just need help defusing the situation. Any advice?

I have an 05 off-road that I replaced the factory stereo in 05 but have just kept the factory speakers. Since I have the door apart to replace the window motor I was thinking it was time to upgrade the stereo again and might as well do the speakers. I had the standard sound system originally (Not the Rockford system).
Wondering what some of you have done for speaker upgrades. I was surprised the 6x9 is 2 ohms and the tweeter is 4 ohms. I assumed that was wired parallel but wouldn't that bring the impedance down to like 1.33? And I didn't think wiring in series was a common thing. It has been a long time since I worked in car audio but that doesn't seem normal.
Just wanting to replace the 6x9 and tweeter with something decent... nothing crazy. Also, no amp, just planning to use the amp in the new stereo. I'm just confused by the impedance of factory speakers I guess.
Also, really didn't want to go actual components and have to rerun wires. Was just planning to do a coaxial 6x9 and separate tweeter with builtin crossover to hopefully make things easy.

I need your help identifying a track from the new movie "Reality" (2023) that just realeased on HBO Max. It is the last track in the movie, and plays for 7+ min during the last scenes and into the credits. (starts around 1:15:58.) There are no lyrics, though there are some atmospheric vocals layed over the electronic background. I think it is most likely an ambient original soundtrack composition, but I am trying to identify it for separate listening.

Before when I made a twitch stereoscopic broadcast in 32 by 9, I could full screen on my phone and watch with Google cardboard glasses and all my images would be in 3D.
By the way it's pretty easy to make it 2D compatible just zoom in to one of the two eyes.
But now when I watch my previous broadcast, chat takes about 1/2 of the right eye. Which means that the right half of the right picture is gone and it's taken up by text chat.
I thought full screen meant full screen where the whole screen is filled up with the video.
It seems like the ability to remove the chat has not been removed.
By the way for the full disclosure I do have a chat window on my main layout and even a computer voice reading the chat.
I am relying on being able to broadcast in 32 by 9 side by side full in order to preserve the 3d effect with minimal tinkering on the part of twitch to update their system to 3D by using a manual method.
On a 3D TV, I get a twice as tall stretched version of the video because most TVs assume you get 16x9 side by side half for 3D material in manual 3D side by side half mode. So I know the alignment is correct because my TV gives doubly stretched tall versions of my in room camera.
Maybe twitch by default should assume that if something is broadcast in 32 by 9 that the video is being broadcast in stereoscopic mode and it's meant to be a way to broadcast stereoscope without affecting the rest of Twitch's operation.
Maybe there's a way to add a twitch tag you could add to a broadcast. I don't know how to do that on OBS or streamlabs streamer for Android.
I know you can manually add tags so maybe there should be a standard tag for stereoscope 32x9, stereoscope 16x9 sbsh, and so forth, so that the twitch player could accurately show the whole picture and show the corresponding text on the chat.
I know when I export posted to YouTube that the YouTube video posts accurately in stereoscopic 32x9.
So anything I want to save permanently I send to YouTube and it preserves the 32x9 stereoscopy.

Been dealing with a chronic back pain issue for 11 months now, been seeing PT. There's a sharp pain in my lower right thoracic spine that increases if I extend my back. The sharp pain causes all of the muscles in the region to tighten and spasm. Injury was caused during a bench press set where my back was arched too much. MRI showed a bulging dehydrated disc on the left side, opposite of the pain which was weird.
PT didn't really have clear answers but about 6 months into PT we finally figured out that by just push in against that pain spot and extending the back, the pain disappears.
I then was able to do it myself by just reaching back with my opposite hand and pushing in against the joint, I can literally feel it bulging against my thumb. When I let go, the sharp pain is gone, for a few minutes until I move around and the back shifts again.
Doing this manual push-in for a couple of weeks, the sharp pain disappeared entirely. I got back into weightlifting for about 4 weeks but unfortunately last night, the sharp pain returned after I did a dead hang from a bar to stretch, so I feel like I'm at square 1. The muscles are spasming because the joint/disc is causing sharp pain again, but pushing it in does alleviate pain for a few minutes.
Anybody else have a similar experience? Wondering if I can build on this knowledge somehow to speed up the healing process.

I have recently bought a 1TB Crucial P3 NVMe (CT1000P3SSD8) and put it in my setup: Ryzen 3900X Asrock B450M Steel Legend 32+8+8+8 = 56 GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 GSkill RAM 3070Ti Zotac Trinity GPU
Upon testing the NVMe read/write speed with CrystalDiskMark, it first showed peak speed of 1745MB/s for both read and write. It should be giving speed upto 3000 MB/s. Upon searching, I got into the BIOS and came across the following setting: Advanced > AMD PBS > M.2 PCIe Speed > Auto So, I clicked on Auto to see other options and it showed: Auto, Gen1, Gen2 & Gen3 When I changed from Auto to Gen3 and rechecked the speed, it reduced to 915 MB/s Now, whatever setting I choose it is stuck at 915 MB/s speed and then I checked in the Samsung magician software where it says that the interface is PCIe Gen3 x1. The motherboard manual says that the M.2_1 slot supports upto Gen3 x4 but I am unable to find out as to where can I change my interface to x4. Can anyone please help in this matter?

Hey there! I've been trying to learn programming since late 2019 but I always get stuck, I'm gonna give a short timeline of my experience in hope it is useful to point out where I might have made a mistake or something along these lines.
Basically in late 2019 a brazilian youtuber got sponsored by Google to make a full course on JS, it was very good and, as far as I can remember, my first interaction with any programming language. Time goes by and I'm following the videos quite well, went through some concepts, history etc etc. Cool and useful stuff for a begginer, but one day I just suddenly stopped (at least I can't remember why I stopped, but I think it was because I was pretty young still and didn't really understood that I needed to invest time in order to see results), then some months go by and few weeks after covid I decided to go back to learning from that same video series, but when I started doing it again something was off, it wasn't working like in the video (at the time it was probably something really simple that I could have googled to solve) and I thought it had become obsolete, completely outdated (that was my young mind tho, now I understand it probably wasn't that big of a deal). But anyways, I felt very very demotivated because I had a Google verified free course to get started on programming and I basically just threw it away, just to regret it a few months later.
A little longer time goes by and I decide to give programming a try again (because I really love and really want to learn one day, and hopefully even work with it, it's my first ever passion) I remember I was using Discord a lot and playing with a bunch of bots, even using some that were customizable. I decided I wanted to make a discord bot, some googling here and there and VoiLa, I found some good videos, freeCodeCamp I think. If I'm not mistaken most of them were using ReplIt, that's when I found out about it and started getting super motivated, because the laptop I was using at the time was really old (like a decade old). So I followed tutorials and all and got a working bot, nice. Used python I think, then after that I started going deeper and deeper into the tutorial abyss, just to get demotivated (I still didn't really knew how I should learn). A few personal problems and several tries at learning again and again and again go by, but nothing. And we're finally nowadays, and I just feel like shit, I don't feel capable of learning programming nor anything at all. I'm doing very bad at school and I can't get anything done, I'm not being able to do homework much less learning how to program. I just want help, some guidance, some motivation. I want to learn programming for real this time, I'm tired of failing but I just can't find the motivation to invest some hours a day to improve my skills, I was going to use freeCodeCamp, TOP, CS50 and a lot of other resources (one at a time of course) but my internet is really shitty and I can't depend on it to learn because it just doesn't work, probably I'm gonna get a better one in some months so I'm gonna be accepting online recommendations.
But I think that's it, my only wish is to learn how to code, I want to get started on my own little projects, I want to learn how to start designing the ideas, building the logic and doing everything. I know I need to start small but I need a way of putting this into my head, I need a way of understanding that I can't in fact learn from a X hours course in X-Y hours. I want to talk to people that have/are going through the same problems as me (preferencialy about programming) so I can get motivated and hopefully motivate someone too. I just want to get out of this little nightmare and live my life, learn my hobbys, have fun, laugh, cry, everything. I just can't be stuck inside this small hole.
And I know I can learn stuff on my own because I've done it before and learned it much quicker and easier than with someone else teaching me, of course I'd like to have a tutor but I feel much better learning from the raw resources instead of being mouth fed by someone, I'd like a tutor that just turns me to the right direction and answer some simples questions, not one that gives me the direct answer (I think this is stated on the sub rules but I can't find it). I hope this was clear enough, please I just need help getting back on the track of learning how to code. Thank you and sorry if you read everything.

I'm at a really weird point in my life where half of my friends have graduated already and they're busy with their 9-5 jobs, while half are busy w/ acads, so none of them are free on weekdays.
Nowadays I just waste away at home while I wait for graduation day. Sometimes I drink on the weekends.
