Opinions of Ritual Weapons

2023.06.01 00:45 ObieFTG Opinions of Ritual Weapons

I decided to do a write up to talk about the Ritual weapons of D2. To be clear here, I’m talking about the proper Ritual weapons that feature the 3 ornaments for Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit, and not the handful of “Pursuit” weapons that escaped The Great Sunsetting. If you agree or disagree (or agree to disagree), let me know!
This is not a “ranking” list by the way. Just my opinions on them and how well they perform in current day. Onward!
S12- Adored: A reprised/remixed version of Beloved, which itself was a reprise of the Thousand Yard Stare sniper rifle from D1. It’s main claim to fame was its low zoom scope, which gave it excellent targeting along with its great range stats for PVP. As is the case for its kin though, it really was just a sought after PVP sniper, as there were stronger options on the PVE side of things. Nowadays, snipers aren’t particularly meta weapons in either game mode outside of the exotics, so it’s not a very strong contender. (Plus you can actually get just get a TYS from the Grasp dungeon now anyway)
S13- Salvager’s Salvo: What makes this special GL strong is the Chain Reaction perk. Up until this weapon, the perk was only featured on heavy GLs, but since this it’s now a possible roll on swords as well as other special GLs. The advantage of this however is that it’s a static roll that can be pulled from the Monument Kiosk as opposed to hoping for RNG to be kind. It still can be effective for add clear and spike damage, even though there are lots of new options out there thanks to Light 3.0 and newer weapon perks.
S14- Null Composure: The same things that applied to Salvo also apply here to Null, with the difference being the perk of Reservoir Burst as opposed to Chain Reaction. It’s a perk exclusive to fusions, of which this was the first to feature it, and again, it’s attainable without the need to pray to RNGesus. Also, it’s still a relevant Void weapon in the current sandbox, even with competition like the craftable Likely Suspect fusion.
S15- Ascendancy: At this point is where in hindsight I see that many of the pursuit weapons are the litmus test of perks that would eventually become regularly available on future weapons of the same type. In Ascendancy’s case, that Explosive Light, which now can roll on Heavy GLs as well as Rocket Launchers. It’s outdone in terms of raw power by the focusable Hothead though, but it can still hold its own in the current game.
S16- Reckless Endangerment: I love the look of this shotgun…and I really wanted to love this shotgun, but compared to other offerings, the combination of its archetype and mid-tier perks really hurt it. Had they shipped it with a combo of One-Two, Trench or Opening Shot instead of Steady Hands and Swashbuckler, we’d be still talking about it being one of the best legendary shotties in the game. As it stands now, it’s forgettable.
S17- Chain Of Command: As exciting as it was to have a Stasis heavy that wasn’t a GL…Chain of Command is another forgettable pursuit weapon. It does offer some interesting synergy with the Osmosis perk though, so you could use it in a Stasis/Other damage Surge scenario, but…you’d probably opt to use a more potent heavy weapon that thin in most cases. Vorpal Weapon was a perk already in the game when this shipped, and interestingly enough, they didn’t feature it on here. Fast forward to now, and you have Target Lock, which is even better than Vorpal so long as you don’t miss shots. There’s really no reason to run this.
S18- Cry Mutiny: The only real reason you’d run this is because it has Incandescent. But even with that perk, there are other more effective ways to get Scorch stacks and ignitions with your Solar subclasses. It’s still good for additive effect, but it’s definitely not going to be your go-to high damage source in Solar surge scenarios (unless it’s Overcharged).
S19- Veles-X: Now this…this was a game changer. The first primary pursuit weapon since they did away with Pinnacle weapons…and it ended up being really, really good. Solid perk combos for both PVE (Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn) and PVP (Tunnel Vision/Kill Clip) make this one of the best primary weapons in the game. Works well with nearly any Void build you can think of, and when you get Kill Clip going in PVP you can actually ONE BURST low Resilience Guardians. It’s cracked.
S20- Ecliptic Distaff: There are way too many glaives on offer in the game now, and they don’t really offer a lot of pop aside from Titans running Snythoceps, but this one has something the others don’t…Destabilization Rounds, the new offensive Void perk. That alone makes it a strong add clear weapon for Void surges and Void builds in general, but aside from that it’s not really breaking any new ground.
S21- Last Rite: Call it Baby DMT if you like…but this scout rifle offers versatility that even its exotic big brother and its Arc cousin Long Arm lack. They basically took the best non-damage perks you can have on a scout rifle and threw them into one package. As of this writing I haven’t acquired it, but I know for sure I’m going to put some miles on this bad boy.
All in all, most of the Pursuit weapons have been bypassed in terms of utility and relevance thanks in equal parts by better weapons and perks becoming available, as well as the Light 3.0 reworks. The standouts however are the two primaries. Those are going to remain work horse weapons for as long as the game persists, especially for those who like their archetypes. I hope we get more of them in the future.

2023.05.31 23:48 Alex_Pres9104 Сhumba Сasino Reddit Review 🎲 Rating Australia

Chumba Casino, launched in 2012 as chumbacasino.com, positions itself as America's premier social casino experience, and it's difficult to dispute that claim when considering the extensive selection of slots and table games available to players from the US and Canada.
The casino has garnered positive feedback from players, earning a solid 4/5 rating on Trustpilot based on over 3,000 reviews. In this Chumba Casino Reddit review, we will delve into the factors contributing to its popularity, including welcome offers and more.
Pros:
Over 100+ slots and games to choose from.
Accessible in most US states and Canadian provinces.
Available on both mobile and desktop devices.
Friendly and efficient support team.
Cons:
Currently limited to the US, AU, and Canada.
No live chat support available.
Chumba Casino is a socially-oriented casino that offers a diverse range of games, enabling players to enjoy them without spending any money. They utilize a form of online currency known as 'Gold Coins,' which are provided free of charge upon registration, daily login, social media connections, and participation in promotions. Additionally, you can request a top-up of Gold Coins by mail. This allows you to experience the full catalog of games without making any financial transactions.
While you have the option to purchase Gold Coin packages if your balance is low, Chumba Casino can be enjoyed entirely for free. Furthermore, purchasing Gold Coin packages may reward you with Sweeps Coins, which can be used to play the same games with the chance to redeem any winnings for prizes.
Playing with Sweeps Coins:
When you purchase Gold Coins, you may receive FREE 'Sweeps Coins' as a bonus. New players are given two FREE Sweeps Coins upon signing up. Sweeps Coins cannot be directly purchased but are distributed for free as part of promotions.
Sweeps Coins can be utilized to play games at Chumba Casino with the opportunity to win prizes. Once you accumulate enough Sweeps Coins to meet the minimum balance requirement of 100 Sweeps Coins, you can redeem them for cash prizes or gift cards.
My personal experience with Chumba Casino:
A few weeks ago, I utilized my free dollar at Chumba Casino and won $100. However, I have yet to receive the money in my account. This is highly disappointing, and I will leave a negative review until Chumba pays me the $100.14 that I cashed out. If you suspect that I am being untruthful, you can contact me via email. This experience feels like false advertising, and it's no surprise that people hesitate to deposit money into your game.

My first "finished" Blender model. I only made this for a friend (who's yet to see any of the design), the outcome of which from spare time and a hunger to learn 3D modeling and rendering.
Feedback Points:
  • Is the lighting in the kitchen too flat? How could i improve it?
In terms of lighting alone, im toying between creating an appealing render, and something more representative of reality. How do you decide?
Other than the obvious problems such as the low resolution and missing textures (glass panes on the left hand doors in the second image) that i need to remake. Is there anything else immedietly sticking out that should be improved?
Some info about the model:
- Furniture, kitchen accessories and appliances are from the 3D Warehouse within SketchUp
- Everything else was homemade
- I'd say about 90% of the texturing is from SketchUp, utilising the amazing Architexture plugin (https://architextures.org/). Most textures were then enhanced with normals, displacements and roughness maps in Blender.
Render and Composition Info:
- 1920x1080
- 2 minutes render time
- Cryptomattes used for denoising materials prone to excessive noise (like the walls) (This tutorial was perfect for me: https://youtu.be/dLZEmfqob7k)
- Compostited some (hopefully) sutle bloom as a post process in Blender

2023.05.31 23:28 indistinctly Lutron Support Amazing

Hello Lutroneers,
Just wanted to share my recent great experience with Lutron phone support. I was installing a Lutron Maestro Occupancy sensor in my garage. My uncle gifted it to me since he no longer was using it in his home. No packaging, no instructions.
I was having an odd issue with the switch where when I turned it on. It would act as if someone has turned it off and it would kick off it’s fade off feature. Did tons of Googling, pulled up a PDF of the manual. Nothing. After a couple hours of reprogramming and troubleshooting I called support. Turns out I wired the ground cable to the blue screw (dumb I know). That blue looked green in my dim garage.
Phone support was readily available and wait time was super low. No big hassle getting someone to help me.
Kudos to Lutron! If this is how they treat you I’ll keep buying more Lutron products. I love using Maestro and Caseta products. Wish I could afford Serena.

2023.05.31 23:18 pan-au-levain Is it possible to have a wedding under $10k-$15k if the venue and what’s included is $7k of that?

Hello all! We’re having our wedding in May of 2024 and we are trying to keep within the budget of $10k (but could probably go as high as $15k). I’m looking at a venue that I really like the looks of, my aunt got married there years ago and it was amazing. I’m trying to do the math of the cost and everything before we go in for an appointment. With everything that the venue provides, do y’all think it’d be possible to do the rest of the necessary items with what we have left? They’re renting tux’s and I’m looking at very low cost dresses. We have approximately 60 adult guests on our list and several children.
With the venue comes: 6hr room rental.
Buffet style dinner with two entrees, three appetizers, salad, bread & butter, vegetable, pasta, and potato.
Linen napkin color of our choice, white formal table cloths, white chair covers, chair sash’s of our color choice, center pieces of our choice.
Glassware, silverware, china.
Cutting of wedding cake.
Coffee, tea, and all condiments.
Non-alcoholic beverages.
($57.95 per person, kids aged 5-12years are $11, kids under 4 free)
They also do set up and clean up, and a late night pizza snack.
It also includes 5 hours open bar, and the package we we want for the alcohol is $27 per person.
After the various fees they have listed, and rounded up because I don’t want to underestimate in case there are any fees not listed, it comes out to about $7,000.
My aunt had her ceremony and reception here, so I’m not sure if there’s a separate ceremony fee, or if that is all included in the rental. My step mom is getting us a DJ, so that doesn’t need to be included in the remainder of the budget.
Is this possible to do? My dad is willing to pay up to $10k of our wedding costs and after that any remaining comes from us. Thank you for any help or advice you wonderful people can give. :)

2023.05.31 22:32 average-llama Does it make sense to buy a mobile home on leased land in our situation?

I've thought this through from every angle and need to know if we are making a terrible financial decision or if there are better suggestions out there.
Financial stats: DINKs, $130K gross income, $7,800/month net. No cc debt, cars paid off. $18K owed in student loans (applied for loan forgiveness). ~$70K down payment in HYSA, ~$8K emergency fund reserves. Credit scores: high 700s. No kids but we have 2 aussies, 1 husky, and 1 cat.
We live in a VHCOL area (Ventura County) and rent a 2bd/1bth (800 sq ft) condo for $1,650. With our remaining expenses relatively low, we have been able to save $3.5-$3.8K per month towards a down payment.
I've lived here since 2014 and the landlord is pretty hands-off. No issues with us having pets and he hasn't increased the rent in years. Rent is low because the condo is old (built in the 70's) and there is deferred maintenance needed, original windows, and mold from the bathroom spreading to both bedrooms. We've notified LL about the mold for years but it has not been remedied. In April, LL notified us he plans to sell the property in July.
LL plans to do a 1031 exchange and sell it for $420K. We found comps for the same condos in the community that sold in 2022 for $390-400K. These condos were fully renovated w/ new appliances, new windows, etc., so we offered $350K, considering the condition and mold damage. LL declined and still plans to list at $420-430K. If we were to buy at asking, we need to completely gut the bathroom. We have no idea the extent of the damage until we open up the walls. Guessing anywhere from $30-40K to replace all the wood, drywall, and full bathroom reno, putting our final price for the condo at $450-460K. We think this is a crazy price for their tiny, old, moldy condo. We think they'll probably get asking price because inventory is so low in our market. But until that happens, we have to be proactive and find a place to live.
First, we looked for rentals. It is extremely difficult to find a place to rent w/ pets. Condos/apartments in our area at $2200-2500 would be ideal for our budget, but we have too many pets. Home rentals range from $3000-4000, before factoring in monthly pet rent. We've been quoted anywhere from $50-$200/per pet (yes, one guy told us $800 extra per month to have them there). It is stressful and disheartening to find places that fit our budget, claim they accept pets, only to apply, pay our fees ($45-55/applicant), and then be ghosted. We started searching in April. Even without pets there is a shortage of affordable rentals. This would be a difficult situation for anyone.
We don't feel ready to buy with such a low down payment, but spoke with some lenders, found a realtor, and are pre-approved for ~$740K. This is a VHCOL area with low inventory and home prices are continuing to rise despite interest rates going up to 7%. The market slowed down a bit last winter, but it picked back up strongly in the spring. Decently priced homes are going for over asking; we would be right in the middle of bidding wars.
We don't think it is financially sound to buy at these prices, with our income, and such tight inventory continuing to drive prices up. This would put monthly housing costs at 50-60% of our take-home pay. It just doesn't make sense. Since we're pushed into a corner we started exploring other options.
We looked into manufactured homes. We found a double-wide trailer built in 2006 listed at $210K that qualifies for financing. If we haggle the sellers down to $180-190K, we'd need to finance ~$140K, at ~$1.2K/month. Monthly land lease is $2K. This would make our monthly housing cost ~$3.2K, or 40% of our income, and once we pay off the loan, about 25-30% of our income for the land lease, factoring in potential annual increases. We can then re-build our down payment fund, sell the mobile home at a loss for $80-$90K in 4-5 years, and possibly walk away with something.
The positives are: it's in a nice area with parks and walking trails nearby, newer mobile home with little maintenance needed, and only 1 neighbor to the right. Minimal commute for us both. Fully fenced areas for dogs. Major positives are that we can keep our pets, not be house poor, and continue to save. The ages of our pets range from 5-10 years old, so they will be with us at least another 5-7 years.
The negatives: everything from mobile homes being a sinking money pit, immediate depreciation, being at the mercy of space rent increases, and the stigma of living in a trailer park. I saw the recent John Oliver segment on mobile homes too and I know this is not the ideal situation.
Are we thinking straight here? Does it make sense? Is it a better idea to buy the moldy condo even though it will be almost 1/2 a million, or buy the mobile home?
It feels like we're f*cked either way, so we are essentially choosing which way we want to be f*cked. If we had another 5-6 months to ride out the spring/summer market, hoping prices start coming down again in winter, that would be ideal. But we don't know what will happen with the market and we need somewhere to live.
TL;DR - Landlord is selling the condo where we live in July. We need to move but can't find an affordable place to live with our pets. With our income/expenses, does it make sense to buy an overpriced condo/home in this real estate market, or consider alternatives like a more affordable mobile home?

2023.05.31 22:20 Rand_moss2 Channeling Aaliyah Videos: Interviewing Her Soul

I know this is hard to believe for skeptics especially on reddit, but if you're spiritual like most Aaliyah fans who are keeping her legacy alive, these 2 are the ones that I believe:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoZtPX1cbBQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SpajvbObrQ
For superfans channeling Aaliyah with Tarot cards and the sorts, they tend contaminate what they heard on the news, rumors, and documentaries to cast judgement on the cards drawn instead of having actual channeled Aaliyah tell her story because similar to her music, the message she is trying to convey is sweet yet subtle while hiding the complicated truths to unveil on their own to those who are more in tune with the details. People using cards tend to cast judgement too harshly on what ambiguities they mean and try to shovel this narrative that conspiracy theory videos already exploited with clickbait.
I feel like the tarot card readings are a sham because if you are a good storyteller already familiar with her story trying to convey an agenda with a few slight-of-hand parlour tricks, you can just tell a story and hide all the cards that don't go with the narrative...there are videos where people literally drew a boar but because a boar didn't have anything to do with Aaliyah, she put it back in the deck and reshuffled...she also drew 3 cards in advance for a clickbait narrative without actually getting them by random or the cards were color coded to begin with so she knew what to pick even upon shuffling.
Similar to those psychics who are held captive by the powers that be, they tend to have platinum hair and the first thing they do after being freed is to cut their hair and dye it brown to diminish their psychic/ESP abilities so to be less useful for their handlers. For that one guy who has this device that plays the voice of dead people, that guy just chops up random vocals from old clips and make it talk like that, prior to AI covers, as some type of necro performance arts to desperate and gullible people for views. For his Kobe video, it's not even Kobe's voice, because fans have watched enough of Kobe interviews to know which interview those chopped clips came from, so that's why it's in another voice -- debunked
Watch her other videos channeling other souls of Left Eye, Diana, and 2Pac -- it's easier to actually conduct an interview and upload back to back with new subtle details, do an impression of their active voice of how they feel present day, and what direction of conversation they want to lead than to do all the background research like for a documentary piece just to fake their personality, because people change over time, especially after death, with time to reflect on it all from the vantage point to review what really happened that led them down their path.

Notes from the 2 videos: watch them for yourself to draw your own conclusions and turn on captions to note the subtleties, but like for any veteran Aaliyah fan, links go down or missing all the time so take heed to save. I actually had something tugging at my heart almost like a backseat editor to present the notes as accurately as possible from what was reported in the videos. For these notes, I don't have this distinction between her energy/soul/spirit and I use them interchangeably in case there is a distinction. The eternal present is not aligned with the human perception of time so her soul can traverse her life from the vantage point of how old she was then and visit other memories of past lives. Her current soul identifies as Aaliyah in her past life but she has moved beyond that spiritually to be identified as who she truly is.
Both channelers got signs that her soul wanted to speak either in signals from their dreams or being awakened with signs of her presence. Her soul got the attention of one channeler by portraying herself as Akasha from Queen on the Damned, because her initial sign was somewhat naively ignored. The other more veteran channeler basically read her star chart and found her soul by meditating to find the distinct outline of her spirit and personality. They literally have the outline spirit of Aaliyah here in front of them while they were doing the video where her spirit could correct them in the middle of talking if they got something wrong. I like how in the middle of these soul channeling conversations, her soul is actively telling the channeler to look and interview other souls like Whitney and Left Eye as more evidence that the industry is vile and deceptive like that.
Aaliyah's mom was supposed to be the superstar singer that Aaliyah came to be back in the 80s, but Aaliyah's mom had a pregnancy and stalled her career to raise a child with Aaliyah's dad, who was a bit passive in the relationship. Aaliyah's soul upon reflection realized that at a young age that Aaliyah was given positive conditioning to sing, dance, and perform not realizing what she really wanted in life but she grew to appreciate it and be good at it by living her mother's dreams vicariously through her to be in childhood servitude for entertainment value. Because she was positioned in an entertainment family, it was said that her soul constantly chose these type of families to be born in -- lifetime after lifetime of entertainment servitude for being dependent upon for raising overall family wealth and status -- and that her soul in the afterlife said that she is thriving alongside older women idols (including Whitney Houston and her Grandmother) to figure out who she really is, by identifying and correcting who she really wanted to be to not fall into another life like that. The soul is said to be a thousand to a million years old and they spend time living life (sometimes being indoctrinated or groomed to become a certain individual by families who predetermine your life when you are born), taking time in between lives, and going back and forth in between realms of existence almost like a conditioning for the soul to learn from its own strengths and mistakes when pit against the realities that be. Her soul at the present is thriving and fully disassociated herself from the entertainment industry and when the Channeler praised that "Aaliyah was a good dancer, singer, and performer" at 13:18 in the second video, her soul was actually saying "what?" and disagreeing because her soul moved beyond that identity in the afterlife.
In terms of the R Kelly relationship, both videos said that there was a pregnancy and a pregnancy scare associated with an unnamed family member and R Kelly, respectively. The faces of the channeler reflected how hard of a topic it was for her with regrets and sadness. There was sexual abuse at a young age and because Aaliyah was inside a family record label business which was more ran like a gang-organized crime ring, it was like a pyramid scheme inside a pyramid scheme structure because her family signed off on and was aware of a lot of things she had to do in the industry for her to advance her career when she was just a minor. Her soul also admitted when asked that more than one person in the family including her uncle had sexual advances towards her when she was 12-13 and she was later married to "protect the family asset." In the Chris Brown video remixing "Don't Think They Know" with Aaliyah, there was a lot of imagery where the Bloods that Chris Brown initially was a part of represented "The Family music business" with children and adults -- it was a homely vibe but your royalties are diminished by two layers of pyramid schemes. Then Chris Brown moved and joined the Crips, which were more males, which represented "rappers and industry sharks like Dame Dash" that Aaliyah associated herself with to remove herself from the family business and deal directly with labels. Near the end of the music video, the whites of Chris Brown eyes were shown representing her death and the last scene had him be with all different colors and children as a depiction of heaven, representing unity and no longer associating gang-organized crime by colors. Aaliyah was very intuitive and realized that her talent is multiplied by image for her branding of music to sell -- There are plenty of talented individuals that became ghostwriters because the general public requires image, which creates the branding package to drive sales and relevancy. Therefore, half the interview in one of the channeling sessions had her soul emphasize how protective she was of her image and how her image was affected in a series of events in her life. In terms of Kelly's current image, her soul says that his reactions to the accusations have gotten him to look more guilty than who he actually is and that he himself was in servitude of his environment being born into these type of families with entertainment expectations.
Both Channelers made it their point to revile R Kelly as their separate opinion, but when they asked her soul about it, she explained that R Kelly is a sweet person ("sweet" being a word she commonly said in a particular intonation -- remember this is her soul speaking in the present and not from past conversations with Dame) who wants to do good but has different compartments in his head, where he forgets all the misdeeds that he did or was a part of, from issues stemming from his own upbringing of musical servitude and sexual abuse, which alter his perception towards females. Kelly and Aaliyah have similar backgrounds in victimhood from similar family pressures to succeed and be harvested for wealth and status to benefit the gang-organized crime ring AKA the family-run music business, so a lot of things her soul said was deemed "normal" sounds outrageous for the general public to hear and were brushed under the rug to keep moving forward. Her soul said things were done behind the scenes to protect the image of both and cannot be directly explained because the general public wouldn't understand it. Her parents were well aware she was pregnant and got the paperwork to get a marriage certificate to get an abortion, where the hormone imbalance stunted some of her growth as a woman. The channeler saw some type of pill being exchanged through a mouth to mouth kiss between Kelly and Aaliyah. The marriage was not out of love but was a ritual exchange of goods and services to protect both families' musical assets, like back when royal families strategically married to form alliances and to exchange their resources more evenly. The marriage was initially set up to protect Aaliyah from being preyed by the sexual predators of the industry when in studio collaborations, but that ended up being R Kelly and blackballed her career by her second album to work with new producers after the marriage certificate leaked by a rival record company. Since Aaliyah's first album was mostly produced and written by R Kelly, it may have also been used for accounting purposes to split the profits more evenly or claim tax benefits once they were married to satisfy both family-ran music businesses (which is similar to Jay-Z's and Beyonce's marriage seen more as a business merger). It was later annulled because the public found out, which leveraged the outrage towards Kelly to give up the proceeds of his first 3 albums to Aaliyah's family, except that Barry managed both artists, so the majority of the money literally moved from his left pocket to his right pocket.
Her soul said Aaliyah realized that she could wield her sexuality, body, and confidence as a flirtatious tool in exchange for goods and services without having to participate in sexual acts to be worth value and move into that power. For the sake of her image gaining relevancy to rise up the pyramid scheme to have more control and autonomy over her career, she was proud and not ashamed to use it because of how sexualized the industry is. She used her sexuality as her empowerment to woo strong male figures into her life that she could trust (DMX, Dame) to protect her more from her family and shady industry individuals who 'expected' her to perform for granted and on harsh schedules/deadlines without much royalties going to her. Her soul reflected and said that she should have taken the industry for granted instead of deeming it as a chore to complete, and instead should have taken a break, where she could have gotten married and had kids with Dame regardless of limelight relevancy, which she still regrets not being able to start her own family. Her soul made it a point to analyze her facial expressions to when she was "feeling it" or when it was done out of haste to impress certain authorities. Her soul said that manipulating sexuality for personal gain does destroy something within you spiritually but she was incorporating it for the image and hopefully fans can separate what is depicted by the media versus what truly happened. Her soul said that Aaliyah really loved Dame Dash and what benefited her was that Dame was the cofounder of Rocafella records, which would have gotten her leverage and the connections to move away from her family-ran music label and directly negotiate her deal. Her soul said that her uncle was nefarious and he was losing control and rank in the pyramid scheme that he made with his music label. She was in the middle of being freed from Blackground records to record new material under her control but because she died, he got to keep the majority of the unreleased recordings while her estate was responsible for her image. As stated, the image in tandem with the artistic talents in music are multiplied to propel the branding for relevancy and sales. The estate doesn't want her music to profit the wrong individuals in the family business except that both need to work together for her legacy to be revived. She has a heartfelt message to her fans who uphold and still bring her legacy into prominence after all these years.
Outside of Whitney Houston (that she is really good friends with), her soul kept on pointing to Jennifer Lopez to the channeler in terms of similarities in industry arrival -- JLo was doing dance, Latin, and pop music on her first albums before she transitioned into hip hop and R&B with the help of industry heads in Diddy and Tommy Mottola buying leftover shelved demos from Usher and Brandy, etc and emulating Mariah Carey singles before having Ashanti and Natasha Ramos, etc craft her next singles. JLo leveraged her sexuality to woo heads of record labels (similar to the gentler, natural relationship that Aaliyah found with Dame), where JLo was used to fill the R&B void that Aaliyah left, outside of the rise of Ashanti, Mya, Beyonce, Ciara, Keri Hilson, revival of Monica, etc where Missy was helping some of them succeed. Aaliyah would have found a more flattering way to produce hits and be a trendsetter without harming relationships with other artists in the industry. At the time of her Red album, she said her uncle and his shady industry partners were losing the battle for control and custody over her and she was supposed to be set free from her Blackground label. Her soul said Jay-Z was nefariously scheming over her but wanted her to be in servitude for him in marriage, which is why in the pictures Jay grabbed her by the waist to dance with her (pay attention to facial expressions, similar to how worried she looked at the Nas I Am album release party). She said Jay was wanting to control her towards something sinister to cover up his own insecurities, and that he wanted to teach her a lesson for choosing Dame (which was also why later Dame got screwed out the deal when Rocafella folded and was sold to Def Jam). The Rocafella hand symbol was just a representation reminder for those climbing the pyramid to aim for the top, for how the industry is structured. For example, Kanye took advantage of Rocafella Records and Dame Dash by having his creative output of The College Dropout without the standardization of how rap records were supposed to sound like, where every song Aaliyah sang about was about Love and relationships for R&B records, dictated by her uncle. She was more in control and freeform being in a relationship with Dame, where she said she truly loved him, had a heart connection, and was happy with him.
Upon reflecting on the day of her death, her soul said that her uncle was losing leverage towards controlling her (where she made the majority of the record label's profits) and how she was about to be freed from her uncle's record label. The shady industry conglomerates that her uncle had shady dealings with were also upset and her soul said there were a consortium of shadowy industry conspirators that wanted her demise to control and profiteer off her discography had she died, from how 2Pac and Biggie's music sold way more as one last huzzah before they were supposed to get out their initial contracts and launch their own independent labels. Given that Blackground did a new deal with Virgin Records for her Red album after leaving Atlantic after OIAM, look into Richard Branson (who was associated with Jeffery Epstein, a wall-street magnate) and how the new label backed out and dropped Aaliyah when she died so they wouldn't have to pay for funeral services. Because Aaliyah was dropped from Virgin records after death, Blackground records stopped receiving payments and the funeral bill of $60k went to the estate to cover, where Maxwell picked up the tab. Obviously, she had a premonition dream about her death being floating and weightless from some entity chasing her where all her worries wisped away.
She had a bad feeling about the plane. Her soul reflected that there was something wrong with the airplane tire pressure and one of the airplane instruments was being tampered with and was malfunctioning done on purpose to sabotage the plane. The heavyset man was probably her 300 pound bodyguard discussing some type of deal with the pilot to get them back into the states that she wasn't paying attention to happening in the background. She said that the pilot was the fall guy placed in that position and that the autopsy report saying that there were traces of cocaine and alcohol was a "media trick" to impress upon the public something was at fault with the pilot. It was said that the airplane pilot was the son of a veteran pilot and he had many undocumented hours when flying as a kid with his dad because he had an innate skill to fly without having proper documentation procedures. The pilot was put in this predicament of being on probation for stealing airplane parts and was pressured to fly to keep his job. Her soul said that at the time, she was blind sighted by her anger and the pursuit for her career to be successful and to prove the executives at Virgin Records wrong that 'Rock the Boat' was a good single to be release for her album. Because of this anger, he soul said that she claimed responsibility for flying out a day early to catch other deadlines of recording the Timbaland remix to more than a woman and a feature with Freeway in Miami and that the pressures that resulted in her decisions and actions created hasty judgement overlooking the obvious danger signs and common sense of overloaded/unbalanced luggage. She said that once they were in the air and the plane began to dip and the pilot had to readjust, it was reported in the autopsy report that she died of a shock to the system from a weak heart, suggesting that she was in a coma. She was found 20 feet away from the wreckage where there was one bruise on her forehead and she was in a fetal position. One of the channelers said that when she fainted in midair from her anxiety of flying, she actually felt no pain from the impact and transitioned to the other side where there was a rescue for her soul by her Grandmother that she honored on her red album.
Her soul said that it took her soul 4 years after her death to piece together what had happened that lead her down this path and how to correct for it. She said in her afterlife, she is surrounded by older women as guidance, especially her Grandmother and Whitney, to learn the lessons of not choosing her mortal life path to be stuck in this life of expectation and servitude of having entertainment as a chore to complete for the dangling pursuit of true freedom, but to choose freedom from expectations the minute it appears instead of toil in the guise of it being a careereputation to uphold. She was on the right path towards finding true love with Dame without using marriage as a business pact. She got the upper hand but because she was so low on the pyramid structure of the industry, the powers that be can pull the plug or interfere from her attempts to get free even though she came so close into doing so. Her soul has learned to not pattern her lifetime to be born into these families with entertainment expectations. She said that life is one big stage and some choose the spotlight but everyone has this expectation to contribute to become something. Certain families that your soul ends up being born in have certain agendas for their kids -- they give you the luxuries of life but you have to serve their agenda instead of letting souls pick up life on how they naturally want to be. Her soul said that in order to correct this, she is thriving in the afterlife towards identifying who she really is and recognize the pattern of what life she wants to pick up next without falling into the same situations. My thoughts are that she was so different and had so much style and swag and stood alone that she was a trendsetter without being one by proving to the public she can be her own without following any previous standards or expectations. Even though she was put into that life, she took over and quintessentially became her own person with humility, class, and grace -- people eventually become divas almost as a defense mechanism because of how brutal the industry is towards casting judgement or casting falsehoods about your character because of their struggle for power, greed, and control.
Her souls' words to her mother said that she loved and forgave her in terms of being casted the expectations to perform in industry at such a young age before she had her own impressions of what she wanted in life. She had a lot of good laughter and fond memories but it was in a somber tone due to all the secrets kept. Her soul said that she loved her brother with a lot of emotion and she will never speak badly about him for defending her reputation. She said industry politics got in the way of true progress on her legacy and it wasn't up to the spiritual realm for when her legacy is fully restored to the public. Her soul said that she sacrificed the parts of herself that she understands and identifies with now for the branding and the image of Aaliyah but nobody can decide who you choose your life to be but it is manipulated by the media and family to chase certain ideologies and lifestyles over others. The last message her soul had was that there is a 10 year old girl with her similar looks and poise that they are bringing to the public, who also have this strong connection to her Grandmother, except that this is coming from another entertainment family where the kid is positioned to perform out of expectation and they are drawing inspiration from Aaliyah to mimic and recreate her energy for another money grab. Notice that the 2 videos were done in 2017 and 2019, so they have no way to name that individual except that Blue Ivy was mentioned by her Grandmother that she reminded her of Aaliyah on IG recently, so Blue Ivy is probably the person her soul is talking about that they are trying to rechannel her energy through this little girl as a part of their family entertainment business. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLOuP7WxP-Q If the channelers had "lucky guesses", then how did they stick their neck out and predict that 4-6 years in advance without even having a name?
If there are other channeling videos that you deem to be legit without the cards, let me know.

2023.05.31 22:15 crackofalltrades 2022 GLC -300 CPO , 11k miles at $ 43477 dealer offer price - fair price ?

Hello I am looking to buy a GLC and found a CPO at local dealership, it has low miles and is a year old with some upgrades like- AMG® LINE: flat-bottom multifunction sport steering wheel, AMG® Line Floor Mats, AMG® Line Body Styling, Perforated Brake Discs, Mercedes-Benz lettered calipers, AMG® Line Interior, AMG® Line Exterior, PREMIUM PACKAGE LITE: 64-Color Ambient Lighting, Illuminated Door Sills, SiriusXM Satellite Radio. I feel like the price is high for a pre owned car especially when the msrp of new one is not far off. I am thinking of CPO to not pay for crazy deprecation rate MB gets in first year. What is wiggle room for negotiations generally. In short what should i be asking the dealer as taking on road price ?
Thanks

2023.05.31 21:27 MimosaVendetta Confusion on chicken breast cooking times

I'm trying to figure out "the best" way to time my chicken breast recipes in the slowcooker. I get the packs from Costco which usually have 2 breasts each and use 2 packages. All four pieces usually can sit in a single layer and I thaw them completely. I'm seeing lots of "plain pulled chicken" recipes that say 2ish hours on LOW w/o any sauces but all the recipes that involve sauce have 3-4 hours on HIGH and low is much longer. Is there a good rule of thumb I can go by get a good baseline (obviously checking temp for proper food safety). That big of a difference in time is a make/break for dinner if I've gotten started late. Does the sauce really require that much additional time/heat?

2023.05.31 21:27 Ill-Ad5218 Maryland Says Medicinal Viability Correlated to Potency of Delta 9THC - Absurd State Legislation.

MARYLAND has released the stipulation around recreational cannabis, but they still have yet to announce the potnecy levels, not that I have heard. Even the one Representative I seen recently on Instagram, for Curio, neglected to define specifics. She said that recreational users would be restricted in what they can purchase, and mentions theb750mg cap on concentrates across 12 grams, but neglect to mention that recreational weed will be between 9- 13% taxed at a 9% sales tax with jo maximum cap on said tax.
The state is insinuating in this that the medicinal viability of cannabis lay within the potency of the product. We can look to the University of Mississippi studies showing potency increases over 2 decades of research on illicit cannabis. The studies likely wouldn't include the most potent cannabis, as itnis the kist potent for a reason, that person is on top for a reason.... they didn't get busted. This increase in potnecy is explicit evidence that the potent products available today are not a result of industrial decriminalization surrounding medicinal cannabis. The industries can't even properly operate until they pull in knowledgeable hands in the state they enter to run the systems which aren't understood by many save illicit entrepreneurs or people who make essential oils for example, that has similar lab functions.
The medicinal market is not defined by potency, as much as the government would love this. If you follow my content you will know that medicinal viability if anywhere lay in terpene amd minor cannabinoid interaction within the endocannabinoid system, THc is merely the level of potency that is manipulated into various experiences by the terpene and minor cannabinoid interactions. So saying that recreational growers are restricted to and buyers are restricted to essentially mid grade cannabis and dabs that equal no more than 750 mille grams across 12 grams. For perspective, a medicinal gram of concentrate or a recreational shatter pack from claifornia test at 1000 mg per.
This is going to cause there to be a foot hold for republican conservative legislators to claim that cannabis legalization has failed. Jusst as californias'first year in decreased legal cannabis sales led legislators to claiming the same as it led to a bolstered illicot market. Since states are legalizing the need for California back end legal isn't needed in 20 states as much so there is a back up in California. This lowers the street value and, people especially in California who've had 2 decades to understand that it isn't industry that makes cannabis what it is, so they go to the street ro purchase the same cannabis, for cheaper.
This is what I see taking place here in Marylandz with a slight difference being that users here aren't as accustomed to foregoing industry weed for the dude down the street. His weed is just as good maybe betyer than many available at the dispensary but it's a different culture in Maryland and itnisnt beneficial to an open and legalized cannabis market. All cannabis is inherently medicinal, all canabisnis recreational, but while we don't know how to define the exact therapeutic viability, we know it isn't In THC. We know certain minor cannabinoids like CBD are used by the FDA using semantic and legalise to keep the substance scheduled as a schedule 1 substance, (having no medicinal viability and causes dependency) meanwhile producing epidiolex from the minor cannabinoid CBD. The discovery of producing CBD dominant cannabis was one of illicit entrepeurship, though the brother's who created it weren't weed people so to speak, they were straight edge. Anyway off topic. Point is the FDA has made 5 pharmaceuticals based on cannabis directly or in synthetic cannabinoids, thise being pit to market as early as 1987 using dronnibinol and nabinol. The medicinal viability obviously lays in the interaction of things we don't have a full understanding of thanks also to this one agency time to all the fukery, the FDA. The FDA actively fought to have cannabis peer reviewed research restricted to sub par low quality cannabis produced by and controlled by government contractors at the university of Mississippi. This allowed them plausible deniablilty by claiming they were indeed allowong study of cannabis, we just simply couldn't find anything.. . .we the people. We couldn't find anything because the quality of cannabis was so poor it couldn't be discerned from smoking air, so ofcourse there no medicinal viability found. Peer reviewed research is necessary to change the categorization od cannabis from schedule 1 alongside heroin and methamphetamine. Even Acid, MDMA, and Psyilocybin musrhmrooms,, also all schedule 1 substances have mire studies less restricted by the FDA than does Cannabis. The largest study on cannabis to date was conducted by the FDA on 200 patients for production of epidiolex. Surprisingly... or not, the studies conducted by the government, for the governmemt like the aforementioned study on DEA complicated product always led to viable results whereby there was clear definition of control and placebo. Epidiolex even has a notation in its packaging indicating it is not operating under placebo effect, idk why but it does. If u skipped that I'm talking of the longitudinal potency study of Comphiscated DEA sample. Some will attempt to argue that ofcourse those results were the case because California, who operated industrially during these years (though much differently than the total industrial inundation of Maryland, California entrepreneurs atleast had a chance from the jump) so the cannabis tested isn't exemplary of illicit potency oflver the 2 decades. But this was controlled for by obtaining locally grown cannabis from the south east, north east, and Midwest, so the increase in potency over the 2 decades shows a Correlation to potency and recreational activity. Obviously anyone part of cannabis culture knows that potnecy is relative to recreational markets. The extent to which terpenes are part of the recreational market lay in exotic phenotypes that produce unique aromatic profiles that smell nothing like cannabis. This provides aesthetic value over potency which is saleable on the illicit market, like strains such as pink lemonade or Bkueberry Muffins. They taste nothing at all like traditional cannabis. So essentially I guess a good way to say it is that the actual medicinal viability of cannabis is used illicitly moreso as Novelty in somatic presentation than its medicinal viability.
All this considered, one can see the silliness in qualifying recreational cannabis by capping the level of potency.
This will lead to a gray market of diverted medicinal quality cannabis and California will be happy with the lack of recreational potency. For the novice user, I'm sure it'll be fine, but for the experience smoker wanting to celebrate the July 1 2023 legalization date in Maryland with potency, are going to be shocked. In addition, to endure that ppl don't flock to medical cards, the state put a temporary hold on medicinal applications until 2024. This makes me question, if you purchase recreational is you name attached and if so will you be allowed medicinal access thereafter? Lemme know what u think.... or how ur state compares to this.

2023.05.31 20:58 aineberries Where can I buy substrate in bulk, and decently priced hides/enclosure accessories?

I’m getting ready to upgrade both of my two ball pythons to bigger tanks, and I’m hoping to find some hides that are aesthetically pleasing that won’t cost me $$$ out the rear end.
Also, with these bigger tanks I realized I will be buying more substrate. Is there somewhere I can buy substrate in bulk? I use a mixture of coco coir and sphagnum/peat moss. Can I buy bulk packages from home depot or lowe’s? Do the gardening versions have additives? Are there any that don’t?
Sorry for all the questions, and thank you!
Edit: Spelling errors.

Shipping strategy plays a vital role for E-commerce sellers, and a good E-commerce seller should have certain shipping strategies to drive up the store’s conversion rates.
Nowadays, more and more online E-commerce sellers are willing to offer their customers a “shipping on us” strategy. According to the relevant data, 69% of merchants provided the free shipping option. 59% of buyers indicated that including shipping service would affect their purchase decision.
Therefore, the E-commerce delivery with no costs strategy has already become an important trend for online shopping.

What is E-commerce Free Shipping?

E-commerce free shipping means that sellers pay for the shipping fees for customers who made purchases through their stores.
Shipping for free is like an incentive for buyers; it drives buyers to purchase more stuff and improves their shopping frequency.

How Does Free Shipping Work?

Is free shipping really free? The answer would be no. The shipping is free because the retailers will include the shipping cost from purchases.
Retailers usually would set requirements or conditions for free shipping. The most common ways for sellers to promote free shipping are:
  • Get free delivery when you spend over $60
  • Free shipments for all items today, no minimum spending requirements
How to set up the online free delivery rule is based on your profits and the cost of shipping. There are no set rules for merchants.

How do E-commerce Sites Offer Free Shipping?

Free shipping means the shipping fee is free for your customers, but it does not mean the sellers must take the loss. How can sellers offer free shipping?

Increase the Price

In most situations, the retailers would increase the price of the product in order to offer a “shipping on us” option. Let’s say your item was $15, and the shipping cost is $5. The merchant will boost the item price up to $20 and tell customers to offer free shipping. By saying such things, it sounds more appealing to customers and makes them purchase more.

Lower Your Shipping Cost

Besides raising the price of shipping, many sellers may still wonder how do sellers afford free shipping. The quick answer would be to lower your shipping cost.
If you’d like to ship items directly from carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS. The retail price would be very expensive.
However, they are so many different ways for you to save the shipping cost. A web-based shipping discount software would be very helpful. Shipping software collaborates with major carriers, and they get low rates for shipping labels if you purchase from them.
The software ShipSaving is a good one for you to try. ShipSaving can save you up to 89% off USPS shipping costs without any hidden fees.

Get Free Packaging

To be frank, packaging is one of the factors to consider when it comes to free shipping. Most retailers will also add up the packaging cost to the item price. The good news is that carrier stores provide free shipping supplies. You may find free shipping boxes, pouches, and envelopes from carriers’ offline stores.

Free shipping is an effective way to boost sales without any doubts. If sellers want to incorporate free delivery strategies into their online stores, they must find better ways to minimize the delivery cost.
