2016.03.03 02:02 IVantMyBurd 2006: Didn't Jack Palance Already Die?
Related: Didn't Jack Palance already die?Link is dead, but can be found on the WaybackMachine here, and it's a goldmine for early ME discussion!
Friday evening I got an email from someone who informed me that actor Jack Palance had died. But that’s not all, and I’m certainly not one to offer celebrity eulogies. The point this woman wanted to make was that she remembered Jack Palance dying several years ago. She asked her boyfriend about it as well as another friend, and all three of them agreed that Jack Palance had indeed died sometime over the last few years. And this may sound crazy, but I also remember him dying several years ago, as do a couple other people who I have asked about the subject. Glitch in the Matrix?
First of all, I remember Jack Palance being dead once. Another is Ernest Borgnine, some remember an Oscar ceremony that mentioned him. (dead reel) Red Skelton: I remember distinctly him dying in the 70’s sometime, yet now it’s mid 90’s. (I’m quite proud of blowing the mind of a skeptical friend with that one) Nelson Mandela: dead, now alive.(Remember, This is in 2006)
When I read that Jack Palance had died, it didn’t quite sit well with me, but after reading this, I feel that I do remember hearing he had died several years ago. Creepy. There used to be a section on realityshifters.com of stories from people who had noticed reality shifting this way. Some of the stories were incredibly weird and uncanny. I’m pretty skeptical so I don’t necessarily believe they were all true, but I started thinking about similar experiences in my own life, and thought of quite a few inconsistencies that I have never been able to quite reconcile.
Uh, I just got major chills. Did you see that Jack Palance was in a movie called “I Died a Thousand Times” http://www.amazon.com/Died-Thousand-Times-Jack-Palance/dp/6302066883 That’s creeepy!!!
I started a thread about this on the RigInt forum: http://rigorousintuition.ca/board/viewtopic.php?t=9212
Whoaho, here we go: http://hollywood.outsidethebeltway.com/category/obituaries/
Palance died of natural causes at his home in Montecito, Calif., surrounded by family, said spokesman Dick Guttman. He was 85, according to Associated Press records, but his family gave his age as 87.
Two year discrepancy?

I have to say, I thought he had died years ago. Still, that does suck. And there you have it; we are not alone!
I’m with you on that one. I was like, “I thought I remember a Jack Palance retrospective or something after he died…”
Dude, I KNOW i seen soemthing like a retrospective on him years back. That f*ckers been dead. This is some sort of mix up.
That’s happened to me before too. I was SURE that Don Knotts had died already. Then, he died. WTF
I just have to echo the sentiments of the “didn’t he die years ago?” crowd. …Didn’t he die years ago? And isn’t there a name for the phenomena of thinking someone died years ago but they didn’t really? Unless they did, really.
I totally thought he was already dead too. Or at least like 98 years old.
I could have sworn he did too. Freaky. … he has been dead for years. this is the conspiracy to distract you from studying 9-11 … Is he dead again?
I could swear he died once before and maybe he will again RIP for now big guy.
Re: “Joe Says” comment – I remember VIVIDLY coverage of Nelson Mandela’s death in prison in the late 80’s or early 90’s! I’ve met other who remember this too!(Remember, This is in 2006)

I gotta be honest; I thought he was already dead and I’m not even kidding Yeah, me too… but maybe I was confusing him with the character from City Slickers. Also do a Google search for jack palance “already dead”: http://www.google.com/search?q=jack+palance+%22already+dead And you’ll find results like these: http://dlisted.com/2006/11/10/rip-jack-palanceAnd from here: http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/34709834/m/186008491831
I really thought he was already dead.
Me, too. I could've sworn I heard an obit piece about him dying a couple of years back.
I thought he'd passed away a long time ago.
but I also thought he had died some time ago!
Yeah, I honestly thought he was already dead too.
I thought he was already dead too; I'm thinking that maybe I was getting him confused with Robert Stack, who died in 2003.
I thought he was already dead. So I am shocked that he died! But now I am sad all over again
Huh. I could have sworn Jack Palance was already dead. Also interesting: apparently he hosted TV’s Ripley’s Believe It Or Not for a while.
Yeah, I was also under the impression that he had passed away already. Like, a few years ago.
I have to admit, I thought he had already passed away a few years ago, … Earlier in teh week, I decided to pull up imdb and check ‘hey is Jack Palance still with us’ and now hes dead……
Yesterday I was talking with a friend of mine about old celebrities and he goes, “Is Jack Palance still alive?” Sure enough about 10 minutes later we see that he’s just died.

“Honestly, when I heard this news on TV I kind of chuckled. I thought Jack was already dead. Believe it…….or Naaaught…..”http://www.jetsinsider.net/forums/showthread.php?t=129673
yikes. I though he was already dead.http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/...4e41eb3d21&p=2378698#post2378698
haha, so did I.
Same here.
Wow, I was ABSOLUTELY sure he was already dead. I remember seeing clips of the one-handed push up from the Oscars thinking how sad it is that he’s dead – and this was years ago when I thought that!Well, that just about cinches it – TONS of people on all kinds of websites seem to remember him dying years ago…
Some other weird Palance synchronicities:- He played Fidel Castro in Che. As well we know, Castro is currently on his deathbed and has also been the frequent subject of speculation as to whether he’s dead or not.
