Need help with getting my dog to like new dog.
2023.06.01 00:11 Purple-Injury-107 Need help with getting my dog to like new dog.
TLDR: my old corgi (male 13 yr old) will not accept another dog( female 8 yr old 1/2 collie 1/2 Aussie) we rescued recently. She immediately submits but he keeps going after her. We've been following tips my aunt, a pet trainer, suggested but it feels like it doesn't work.
They met on neutral ground outside, and they sniffed each other and then moved on. we take them for walks together almost every day opposite of both of us. But Since she moved in the house and we have divided them up to get accumulated he growls and jumps towards the fences. She got out of her area a couple times and go towards my husband and the corgi will seek her out and lunge. He hasn't bit her but it really looks like he does. They are fine together in the backyard (with supervision) but inside is another story. The corgi lunged at her again and pinned her down. She wasn't hurt but she is shaken up and hiding. I'm at my wits end because I want this to work.

Watching my little bros dog and his little corgi body overcame the usb connectors grip on the board. This has happened before in the past and Amazon had the replacement board, but now many years later the only source for the little interface usb board seems to be AliExpress with a 1 month wait time. Is there any other secret sources that I've missed, or am I essentially out of luck and need to let my favourite keyboard of around 7/8 years go? My backup membrane keyboard can float me for a week or so, but I will miss my rainbow click-clack... I have already taken it apart with the hope to solder it back but the pins broke off in a non accessible location after bending down and into the board, so that is no longer an option. submitted by Philsquatch to razer [link] [comments]

im buying parts to control LEDs on a broadboard with raspberry pi and its GPIO pins (buddy sent me a link with beginner projects). the project asks for a "Raspberry Pi with a 40 GPIO. the specs say "40 pin female stacking header, 8.5mm plastic, 8mm pins". i found a set on amazon but the description is "8.6mm plastic, 5.5mm pins". does this matter?

2023.05.31 22:18 Last-Percentage-8982 Computer born dead
Hi.
I hope this is the right place to ask this. I build new computer and it wont turn on. I checked connections from power supply to motherboard and all seems correct. I also checked outlets on power supply and cannot get any 12V or any other voltages. Power supply is Gigabyte P1000GM. I already built around 10 computers and this is first time that this happened. So, no lights on motherboard, no sign of power anywhere on computer. And yes, I turned on computer and connected it to wall outlet (from the same wall outlet the monitor is connected and the power indicator is turned on).
System has:
said power supply
motherboard Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2
processor Intel i7 11700K
32GB ram, Kingston 3200MHz
I hope that someone could help and I hope that PSU is not dead. It would be very helpful if somebody can tell me which connectors on PSU outlet are which that I can check PSU again and to not run over all pins all the time. Of course, all suggestions are more than welcome. I hope that post is understandable, English is not my first language.
And update:
I disconnected all of computer parts and checked all pins from PSU. First funny thing it was when I checked first 12V 8 pin connector for PCIe and CPU. It has 5! pins with power and 3 ground. Then I checked another 12V 8 pin connector and what a surprise, it has same, 5 pins with -12V, when it should be 4 pins with 12V+ and 4 ground pins. I have no idea how this happened and I only hope that I did not damaged MOBO and GPU when I connected it all together. Sadly that I do not have another PSU to check it. Atx has all 24 pins right, and yes, I connected 16th and 17th pins together to make PSU think that is connected to MOBO. Does anyone have any idea what could caused this?
Sorry, but I'm already desperate to find solution, so I decided to ask here for opinion. First part is from several days ago, when I asked on few other sites. Update is from today. I hope that is not too annoying to ask this way but I really do not know what to do next or where to turn for help.
Thank you in advance.

2023.05.31 22:08 juyviem Possible neuropathy?
I’m 20yo female 5’0 96 pounds in MN
The symptoms are in my hands and sometimes feet and nose.
Sometimes when I brush something against or scratch my hand it feels painful. I am way more sensitive to pain in my hands in general.
My hands also sometimes have this tight feeling as if something underneath is inflamed. But they look fine.
Sometimes when my hand is under warm water or touches my own skin that is warm it feels like it’s burning.
Sometimes when I run my hand under cold water or the wind is cold on my hands I get this tingly feeling in my hands and pins and needles of coldness I would never really describe it as ever numb, but just tingly
Sometimes my hands even feel super itchy but there is nothing wrong on the outside of them. I never get a rash, bumps, or discoloration.
My nose also gets itchy, equally on both sides and is also sensitive to pain a bit more too. Not near my nostrils. It’s just on the sides above my nostrils.
It’s not constant. It comes and goes.
When I put pressure on my hands for a while by sitting on them it relieves the symptoms temporarily
The symptoms come and go and for some reason seem to happen in the spring and summer the most. I never get it in the winter. Sometimes the fall. This has been happening ever since I was about 6-8 years old and no one has ever been able to give me an answer and it was hard to describe the sensations when I was younger
There must be something going on with my nerves. But I’m curious what the cause could be because it’s in both hands equally. I’ve never suffered any sort of nerve damage that I know of. I don’t have diabetes. If it was some sort of toxin I wouldn’t think it would’ve lasted all my life.
I’m going to see a doctor but I would like some input if anyone has any ideas or experienced something similar

2023.05.31 22:00 Roman15SM Cannot find PCIE connector for the Chieftec PSU
Hi All,
I recently bought a graphic card(GeForce RTX 3060) and realized that it needs two PCIe 8-pin(or 6+2) cables, however my previous card required only one and I have only one:( I know that the standard for those connectors is different per PSU manufacture company and the problem is that I cannot find anywhere Chieftec's PSU 8-Pin to 6+2 PCIe at all :(
Does somebody knows some shops with the delivery to Europe where I can get one or maybe there are any alternatives for it? My PSU: Chieftec CTG-750C photo:

2023.05.31 19:07 Bard_of_Light [Spoilers Extended] LBJ: The Return of the Prince: Éowyn at the Trident
Video: Return of the King (1980) - Éowyn vs Witchking “For she is a fair maiden, fairest lady of a house of queens. And yet I know not how I should speak of her. When I first looked on her and perceived her unhappiness, it seemed to me that I saw a white flower standing straight and proud, shapely as a lily, and yet knew that it was hard, as if wrought by elf-wrights out of steel. Or was it, maybe, a frost that had turned its sap to ice, and so it stood, bitter-sweet, still fair to see, but stricken, soon to fall and die? - Aragorn about Éowyn”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King This is part of a series exploring the hidden motives and actions of the main players during Robert's Rebellion, named LBJ in reference to the influence of Lyndon B. Johnson and the Vietnam War on GRRM's views and writings on war. LBJ also indicates considerations over whether
Lyanna +
Bobby B =
Jon Snow. Previous installments include:
The last part examined evidence that the rebels lied to stage a rebellion to knock the dragons of the Iron Throne, ending with the question: If Rhaegar was taken hostage and prevented from defending himself against false allegations of kidnapping Lyanna, then how did he manage to return to fight at the Trident?
The Return of the Prince: Rhaegar at the Trident
Crowning Lyanna queen of love and beauty indicated to some that Rhaegar intended to set Elia Martell aside and make a new queen. So parallel to Arianne Martell's
Queenmaker plot, which led to her solitary confinement in a tower, like Lyanna was confined in the tower of joy, Rhaegar, like the Queenmaker plot conspirators, may be imprisoned at Ghaston Grey in the Sea of Dorne. The precedent of the Mad King's imprisonment at Duskendale and the fact that Dorne has an Alcatraz-style island prison called
Ghaston Grey - relating to
Beauty & the Beast's Gaston, who imprisoned his romantic interest and lied to incite violence against his rival - supports that Rhaegar or his friends were imprisoned there. It's possible that Rhaegar is still alive; his status as the father of Elia's children may preserve his life.
Martin stated Rhaegar was cremated, as is Targaryen tradition, when asked what happened to Rhaegar's body; this statement does not negate the possibility that an imposter's body was cremated in Rhaegar's stead. Or maybe he's truly dead, but there's good reason to believe Rhaegar wasn't present at the Trident where he supposedly died.
As mentioned in previous parts, it is strange that Rhaegar would supposedly leave three Kingsguard with Lyanna, while leaving Elia and their children, the first two heads of the dragon and the prince that was promised, in the care of his deranged father with no Kingsguard besides Jaime, who was kept busy guarding the King. Jaime's failure to protect Rhaegar's family haunts him...
"And the children, them as well," said Prince Lewyn.
Prince Rhaegar burned with a cold light, now white, now red, now dark. "I left my wife and children in your hands."
"I never thought he'd hurt them." Jaime's sword was burning less brightly now. "I was with the king . . ."
- A Storm of Swords Jaime VI ...but it ultimately fell to Rhaegar to ensure the safety of his loved ones, and the situation he left Elia and their children in was obviously dangerous, given that Aerys had to threaten Prince Lewyn with the safety of Elia and her children to convince him to command the Dornish troops. Some have argued that Rhaegar was so confident in prophecy that he underestimated the threat posed to himself and his children, but if that were the case, why bother guarding Lyanna and their alleged child? This failure, in conjunction with other evidence suggesting the abduction story was a farce, indicates that this person who returned from the south wasn't actually Rhaegar.
Recall that if Rhaegar truly abducted and impregnated Lyanna, evidence suggests he stayed with her at the tower long after she conceived. Dany claims to have been conceived soon before Rhaella fled King's Landing, and
Martin stated Jon was born roughly 8-9 months before her, placing Jon's birth within a month of Rhaegar's death. Once he returned from the south, it would not have taken more than a few months
tops to marshal the loyalist forces to oppose the rebel army. This implies he was at the tower for over a year, while a war raged nearby; why did he suddenly take an interest in the rebellion? Why not enter the fray sooner, when his help really could have made a difference? Walder Frey is ridiculed for arriving late to the Trident, but maybe Rhaegar is the one who truly deserves the moniker "the late lord". And if Rhaegar stayed away due to his love for Lyanna and desire to be with her, why not wait a couple more months so he could be there when she gave birth?
An obvious reason for Rhaegar to appear when he did is that Robert was starting to be taken seriously as a threat, and the crown prince gave heart to the loyalist forces during a pivotal battle; it's too bad this heart wasn't big enough to prevent the war in the first place.
Crossing the Trident was also a tactically unsound move by Rhaegar, and it would have been to his advantage to draw the rebel army further south. During the War of the Five Kings, Stannis's forces also attempt to cross a river, the Blackwater Rush, but are spooked off by Renly's ghost:
My hirelings betray me, my friends are scourged and shamed, and I lie here rotting, Tyrion thought. I thought I won the bloody battle. Is this what triumph tastes like? "Is it true that Stannis was put to rout by Renly's ghost?"
Bronn smiled thinly. "From the winch towers, all we saw was banners in the mud and men throwing down their spears to run, but there's hundreds in the pot shops and brothels who'll tell you how they saw Lord Renly kill this one or that one. Most of Stannis's host had been Renly's to start, and they went right back over at the sight of him in that shiny green armor."
After all his planning, after the sortie and the bridge of ships, after getting his face slashed in two, Tyrion had been eclipsed by a dead man. If indeed Renly is dead. Something else he would need to look into. "How did Stannis escape?"
- A Storm of Swords Tyrion I Like Garlan fought in Renly's armor at the Battle of the Blackwater, an imposter fought as Rhaegar at the Trident. "Rhaegar" wore black armor crusted with rubies, like Mance uses a ruby in a black iron cuff to disguise himself as Rattleshirt via glamor magic. Dany has a vision of her own face behind Rhaegar's visor, and red light glimmers through the visor like Melisandre's glamor-producing rubies glimmer redly.
And saw her brother Rhaegar, mounted on a stallion as black as his armor. Fire glimmered red through the narrow eye slit of his helm. "The last dragon," Ser Jorah's voice whispered faintly. "The last, the last." Dany lifted his polished black visor. The face within was her own.
- A Game of Thrones Daenerys IX Lady Melisandre was seated near the fire, her ruby glimmering against the pale skin of her throat.
- A Dance with Dragons Jon I The big square-cut gem that adorned his iron cuff glimmered redly. "Do you like my ruby, Snow? A token o' love from Lady Red."
- A Dance with Dragons Jon IV This is a world with glamor magic, skinchanging, and Faceless Men, and so it cannot be ruled out that an imposter fought as Rhaegar at the Trident. Dany seeing her own face behind Rhaegar's visor hints that someone besides Rhaegar wore his armor. Even Arya, who is said to resemble Lyanna, makes use of the face-changer Jaqen H'ghar at Harrenhal, where all this began... Jaqen H'ghar's name is near anagram for Rhaegar, incidentally. It suspends belief that soldiers would stop in the thick of battle to scoop up rubies, making it easier to accept that ruby-assisted magic was afoot.
When Ned had finally come on the scene, Rhaegar lay dead in the stream, while men of both armies scrabbled in the swirling waters for rubies knocked free of his armor.
- A Game of Thrones Eddard I Perhaps the strongest piece of evidence against an imposter, however, is that Jaime remembers a conversation with Rhaegar before the battle, in which there are no obvious indications of deception.
And all for naught. They found only darkness, dust, and rats. And dragons, lurking down below. He remembered the sullen orange glow of the coals in the iron dragon's mouth. The brazier warmed a chamber at the bottom of a shaft where half a dozen tunnels met. On the floor he'd found a scuffed mosaic of the three-headed dragon of House Targaryen done in tiles of black and red. I know you, Kingslayer, the beast seemed to be saying. I have been here all the time, waiting for you to come to me. And it seemed to Jaime that he knew that voice, the iron tones that had once belonged to Rhaegar, Prince of Dragonstone.
The day had been windy when he said farewell to Rhaegar, in the yard of the Red Keep. The prince had donned his night-black armor, with the three-headed dragon picked out in rubies on his breastplate. "Your Grace," Jaime had pleaded, "let Darry stay to guard the king this once, or Ser Barristan. Their cloaks are as white as mine."
Prince Rhaegar shook his head. "My royal sire fears your father more than he does our cousin Robert. He wants you close, so Lord Tywin cannot harm him. I dare not take that crutch away from him at such an hour."
Jaime's anger had risen up in his throat. "I am not a crutch. I am a knight of the Kingsguard."
"Then guard the king," Ser Jon Darry snapped at him. "When you donned that cloak, you promised to obey."
Rhaegar had put his hand on Jaime's shoulder. "When this battle's done I mean to call a council. Changes will be made. I meant to do it long ago, but . . . well, it does no good to speak of roads not taken. We shall talk when I return."
Those were the last words Rhaegar Targaryen ever spoke to him. Outside the gates an army had assembled, whilst another descended on the Trident. So the Prince of Dragonstone mounted up and donned his tall black helm, and rode forth to his doom.
- A Feast for Crows Jaime I Then again, one wouldn't expect a skilled Faceless Man to give up the ruse... Actually, no, I don't think a Faceless Man impersonated Rhaegar at the Trident.

But when the men have died in battle and honour, you leave to be burned in the house, for the men will need it no more. But I am of the House of Eorl and not a serving-woman. I can ride and wield blade, and I do not fear either pain or death.'
'What do you fear, lady?' he asked.
'A cage,' she said.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King This is the first ASOIAF theory I ever thought up. I suppose I was influenced by Éowyn of
The Lord of the Rings in my thinking. Éowyn means 'horse lover', like Lyanna was half a horse herself, an advantageous quality for the warrior maid who fought on horseback and injured the Demon of the Trident.
Video: Ode to Liane Many who prefer R+L=J also reason that Lyanna was the Knight of the Laughing Tree and was discovered by Rhaegar, to explain why he fell in love with her, despite the folly of returning the mystery knight's sense of honor with an ignoble crowning (I prefer the reasoning that
Ned was that mystery knight). Some also assume Lyanna's heritage made her a desirable broodmare to Rhaegar, despite scant evidence that he was interested in warg blood, besides the likely assumption that dragon abilities are related to skinchanging. Lyanna fighting at the Trident is a parallel theory which uses those same elements of disguising oneself to fight for justice, with the aid of House Stark's innate skinchanging ability. Yet this outcome is more impactful, because the stakes were higher at the Trident. The very idea that Lyanna would choose to chill in a tower for over a year fucking a married prince with two very young children while her family and countrymen died in droves on her account is wildly inconsistent with her character.
“Robert will never keep to one bed,” Lyanna had told him at Winterfell, on the night long ago when their father had promised her hand to the young Lord of Storm’s End. “I hear he has gotten a child on some girl in the Vale.” Ned had held the babe in his arms; he could scarcely deny her, nor would he lie to his sister, but he had assured her that what Robert did before their betrothal was of no matter, that he was a good man and true who would love her with all his heart. Lyanna had only smiled. “Love is sweet, dearest Ned, but it cannot change a man’s nature.”
- A Game of Thrones Eddard IX Lyanna was a fighter, the type to seek justice out herself, as she did when her father's bannerman was beset by bullies at Harrenhal. Lyanna also healed the crannogman's wounds; likewise, she would do what she could to heal the wounds caused by her disappearance.
"None offered a name, but he marked their faces well so he could revenge himself upon them later. They shoved him down every time he tried to rise, and kicked him when he curled up on the ground. But then they heard a roar. 'That's my father's man you're kicking,' howled the she-wolf."
"A wolf on four legs, or two?"
"Two," said Meera. "The she-wolf laid into the squires with a tourney sword, scattering them all. The crannogman was bruised and bloodied, so she took him back to her lair to clean his cuts and bind them up with linen. There he met her pack brothers: the wild wolf who led them, the quiet wolf beside him, and the pup who was youngest of the four.
- A Storm of Swords Bran II The rest of his father's words were drowned out by a sudden clatter of wood on wood. Eddard Stark dissolved, like mist in a morning sun. Now two children danced across the godswood, hooting at one another as they dueled with broken branches. The girl was the older and taller of the two. Arya! Bran thought eagerly, as he watched her leap up onto a rock and cut at the boy. But that couldn't be right. If the girl was Arya, the boy was Bran himself, and he had never worn his hair so long. And Arya never beat me playing swords, the way that girl is beating him. She slashed the boy across his thigh, so hard that his leg went out from under him and he fell into the pool and began to splash and shout. "You be quiet, stupid," the girl said, tossing her own branch aside. "It's just water. Do you want Old Nan to hear and run tell Father?" She knelt and pulled her brother from the pool, but before she got him out again, the two of them were gone.
- A Dance with Dragons Bran III Arya is often compared to Lyanna, and Arya fought Robert's heir at the ruby ford where Rhaegar allegedly died. She practiced swordplay with Mycah using wooden sticks, like Lyanna and Benjen fought with sticks in Winterfell's godswood.
"It has a name, does it?" Her father sighed. "Ah, Arya. You have a wildness in you, child. 'The wolf blood,' my father used to call it. Lyanna had a touch of it, and my brother Brandon more than a touch. It brought them both to an early grave." Arya heard sadness in his voice; he did not often speak of his father, or of the brother and sister who had died before she was born. "Lyanna might have carried a sword, if my lord father had allowed it. You remind me of her sometimes. You even look like her."
- A Game of Thrones Arya II "Mycah and I are going to ride upstream and look for rubies at the ford."
"Rubies," Sansa said, lost. "What rubies?"
Arya gave her a look like she was so stupid. "Rhaegar's rubies. This is where King Robert killed him and won the crown."
_
Beyond, in a clearing overlooking the river, they came upon a boy and a girl playing at knights. Their swords were wooden sticks, broom handles from the look of them, and they were rushing across the grass, swinging at each other lustily. The boy was years older, a head taller, and much stronger, and he was pressing the attack. The girl, a scrawny thing in soiled leathers, was dodging and managing to get her stick in the way of most of the boy's blows, but not all. When she tried to lunge at him, he caught her stick with his own, swept it aside, and slid his wood down hard on her fingers. She cried out and lost her weapon.
Prince Joffrey laughed. The boy looked around, wide-eyed and startled, and dropped his stick in the grass. The girl glared at them, sucking on her knuckles to take the sting out, and Sansa was horrified. "Arya?" she called out incredulously.
"Go away," Arya shouted back at them, angry tears in her eyes. "What are you doing here? Leave us alone."
Joffrey glanced from Arya to Sansa and back again. "Your sister?" She nodded, blushing. Joffrey examined the boy, an ungainly lad with a coarse, freckled face and thick red hair. "And who are you, boy?" he asked in a commanding tone that took no notice of the fact that the other was a year his senior.
"Mycah," the boy muttered. He recognized the prince and averted his eyes. "M'lord."
"He's the butcher's boy," Sansa said.
"He's my friend," Arya said sharply. "You leave him alone."
"A butcher's boy who wants to be a knight, is it?" Joffrey swung down from his mount, sword in hand. "Pick up your sword, butcher's boy," he said, his eyes bright with amusement. "Let us see how good you are."
Mycah stood there, frozen with fear.
Joffrey walked toward him. "Go on, pick it up. Or do you only fight little girls?"
"She ast me to, m'lord," Mycah said. "She ast me to."
Sansa had only to glance at Arya and see the flush on her sister's face to know the boy was telling the truth, but Joffrey was in no mood to listen. The wine had made him wild. "Are you going to pick up your sword?"
Mycah shook his head. "It's only a stick, m'lord. It's not no sword, it's only a stick."
"And you're only a butcher's boy, and no knight." Joffrey lifted Lion's Tooth and laid its point on Mycah's cheek below the eye, as the butcher's boy stood trembling. "That was my lady's sister you were hitting, do you know that?" A bright bud of blood blossomed where his sword pressed into Mycah's flesh, and a slow red line trickled down the boy's cheek.
"Stop it!" Arya screamed. She grabbed up her fallen stick.
Sansa was afraid. "Arya, you stay out of this."
"I won't hurt him … much," Prince Joffrey told Arya, never taking his eyes off the butcher's boy.
Arya went for him.
- A Game of Thrones Sansa I The deadly consequences of Lyanna's disappearance, based on the rebel's lies, would enrage the she-wolf, driving her to confront Robert in battle if given the opportunity. Thus, "Rhaegar's" rash decision to cross the Trident makes sense in the context of an inexperienced warrior maid chomping at the bit to avenge her father and brother. It even mirrors Arya at the Wed Redding, when she recklessly runs towards the Crossing:
"Maybe we can save her . . ."
"Maybe you can. I'm not done living yet." He rode toward her, crowding her back toward the wayn. "Stay or go, she-wolf. Live or die. Your—"
Arya spun away from him and darted for the gate. The portcullis was coming down, but slowly. I have to run faster. The mud slowed her, though, and then the water. Run fast as a wolf. The drawbridge had begun to lift, the water running off it in a sheet, the mud falling in heavy clots. Faster. She heard loud splashing and looked back to see Stranger pounding after her, sending up gouts of water with every stride. She saw the longaxe too, still wet with blood and brains. And Arya ran. Not for her brother now, not even for her mother, but for herself. She ran faster than she had ever run before, her head down and her feet churning up the river, she ran from him as Mycah must have run.
His axe took her in the back of the head.
- A Storm of Swords Arya XI Lyanna would jump at the chance to practice swordplay with her guards while in captivity, and in particular she'd be eager to learn from the legendary Sword of the Morning Ser Arthur Dayne, like Arya learned from Syrio Forel, the First Sword of Braavos. As Rhaegar's oldest and dearest friend, Arthur could teach Lyanna to pass as Rhaegar in conversation.
Consider that after hearing a song about a lady throwing herself from a tower in grief, like Ashara Dayne allegedly killed herself over her brother's death, Arya thinks the lady should have sought revenge:
It made her angry to see Dareon sitting there so brazen, making eyes at Lanna as his fingers danced across the harp strings.
_
He is a man of the Night's Watch, she thought, as he sang about some stupid lady throwing herself off some stupid tower because her stupid prince was dead. The lady should go kill the ones who killed her prince. And the singer should be on the Wall.
- A Feast for Crows Cat of the Canals As argued in the section on Kingsguard loyalty, Dornish Arthur Dayne was complicit in the betrayal of his friend and king because his sister's life was leveraged against him, like (fake) Arya's predicament leads Jon to betray the Watch. Being threatened with Ashara's death if he deserted his post is like how Arya murders Dareon the singer for deserting the Night's Watch. And yet Dareon's desertion is understandable, given that he was sent to the Wall due to a false accusation of rape, after he was caught abed with a daughter of
Lord Mathis Rowan. Similarly, Robert falsely accused Rhaegar of raping Lyanna, when he was in fact guilty of raping her...
only once.
The king touched her cheek, his fingers brushing across the rough stone as gently as if it were living flesh. “I vowed to kill Rhaegar for what he did to her.”
“You did,” Ned reminded him.
“Only once,” Robert said bitterly.
- A Game of Thrones Eddard I It would add a haunting dimension to Robert's claim that he dreams of killing Rhaegar every night if Robert glimpsed Lyanna once the rubies were dislodged and "Rhaegar" was in the stream. Alternately, if he knew Rhaegar had been killed already, he'd understand that he was fighting an imposter, and so Robert's allusion to Rhaegar dying a thousand deaths stinks of the rage the Mountain must have felt as Beric Dondarrion kept returning from death. Robert's inexplicable rage after his successful defeat of Rhaegar indicates something was off about this event in his mind.
"In my dreams, I kill him every night," Robert admitted. "A thousand deaths will still be less than he deserves."
- A Game of Thrones Eddard I Not only does Dany have a vision of her own face, a woman's face, behind Rhaegar's redly glimmering visor, but she also has a vision of "Rhaegar" saying an unidentified woman's name in the stream.
- A Game of Thrones Daenerys IX Rubies flew like drops of blood from the chest of a dying prince, and he sank to his knees in the water and with his last breath murmured a woman's name. . . . mother of dragons, daughter of death . . .
- A Clash of Kings Daenerys IV The world of ice and fire app claims that Rhaegar said Lyanna's name at his death, but that source is only semi-canon. Both Jon and Robb say their direwolves names as they die, and so it's possible that "Rhaegar's" final words are related to skinchanging.
Jon fell to his knees. He found the dagger's hilt and wrenched it free. In the cold night air the wound was smoking. "Ghost," he whispered. Pain washed over him. Stick them with the pointy end.
- A Dance with Dragons Jon XIII "Yes. Robb, get up. Get up and walk out, please, please. Save yourself . . . if not for me, for Jeyne."
"Jeyne?" Robb grabbed the edge of the table and forced himself to stand. "Mother," he said, "Grey Wind . . ."
"Go to him. Now. Robb, walk out of here."
- A Storm of Swords Catelyn VII Dany also notes warrior maids with rubies, paralleling this idea that Lyanna was a warrior maid in Rhaegar's ruby-crusted armor.
warrior maids from Bayasabhad, Shamyriana, and Kayakayanaya with iron rings in their nipples and rubies in their cheeks
- A Game of Thrones Daenerys VI Lyanna using a glamor to disguise herself is problematic, however, in that it wouldn't produce the iron tones in Rhaegar's voice that Jaime remembers, and her female body would put her at a natural disadvantage in combat, so skinchanging into a male body is a necessary component. But if Rhaegar's body wasn't available, the male she skinchanged into would then need to be glamored to resemble Rhaegar closely enough as to not arouse suspicions when she arrived in King's Landing. It also may be the case that Rhaegar's body was available, along with his armor, after torture left him comatose. Note that the ritual which leaves Drogo in a comatose state, in which Dany also goes into labor, involves shadows which parallel the shadows Bran saw in his vision of the Trident; these shadows may belong to Ned and Robert, as will be argued in a later part:
No, Dany wanted to say, no, not that, you mustn't, but when she opened her mouth, a long wail of pain escaped, and the sweat broke over her skin. What was wrong with them, couldn't they see? Inside the tent the shapes were dancing, circling the brazier and the bloody bath, dark against the sandsilk, and some did not look human. She glimpsed the shadow of a great wolf, and another like a man wreathed in flames.
- A Game of Thrones Daenerys VIII We may assume House Targaryen has access to arcane devices, which the Kingsguard would be in a position to know about, given Bloodraven's use of a moonstone glamor in
The Mystery Knight (which also depicts a warrior maid in black armor):
Dunk whirled. Through the rain, all he could make out was a hooded shape and a single pale white eye. It was only when the man came forward that the shadowed face beneath the cowl took on the familiar features of Ser Maynard Plumm, the pale eye no more than the moonstone brooch that pinned his cloak at the shoulder.
_
Mad Danelle Lothston herself rode forth in strength from her haunted towers at Harrenhal, clad in black armor that fit her like an iron glove, her long red hair streaming.
- The Mystery Knight It's also possible that Lyanna had some sort of Faceless Man training; their ability to disguise themselves appears to be related to skinchanging.
"Mummers change their faces with artifice," the kindly man was saying, "and sorcerers use glamors, weaving light and shadow and desire to make illusions that trick the eye. These arts you shall learn, but what we do here goes deeper. Wise men can see through artifice, and glamors dissolve before sharp eyes, but the face you are about to don will be as true and solid as that face you were born with.
- A Dance with Dragons The Ugly Little Girl Lyanna's defense of the crannogman, who travelled to the Isle of
Faces in a
skin boat to visit the
green men, may have something to do with her
access to these abilities.
"The finest knight I ever saw was Ser Arthur Dayne, who fought with a blade called Dawn, forged from the heart of a fallen star. They called him the Sword of the Morning, and he would have killed me but for Howland Reed." Father had gotten sad then, and he would say no more. Bran wished he had asked him what he meant.
- A Clash of Kings Bran III "He passed beneath the Twins by night so the Freys would not attack him, and when he reached the Trident he climbed from the river and put his boat on his head and began to walk. It took him many a day, but finally he reached the Gods Eye, threw his boat in the lake, and paddled out to the Isle of Faces."
"Did he meet the green men?"
"Yes," said Meera, "but that's another story, and not for me to tell. My prince asked for knights."
- A Storm of Swords Bran II So after receiving adequate training and equipment, a disguised Lyanna may then be allowed to leave her tower to confront Robert at the Trident, contingent upon her return in service to whatever oaths held Arthur at the tower against his will. A battle wound may then be the cause of Lyanna's bed of blood... Consider Arthur Dayne's legendary sword Dawn, likely inspired by King
Arthur's
Excalibur. During the fight at the tower of joy, Ned describes the blade as alive with light, like King Arthur once drew Excalibur and the blade shined so bright it blinded his enemies.
"And now it begins," said Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning. He unsheathed Dawn and held it with both hands. The blade was pale as milkglass, alive with light.
- A Game of Thrones Eddard X Excalibur's sheath also had magical healing powers (keep in mind the dick and vagina symbolism of a sword and sheath). The legendary prowess of the Sword of the Morning thus may be related to his sword's hidden healing ability, and so after Lyanna sustained her chest wound at the Trident, she may be transported back south to be healed by Dawn. This seems unlikely, however, given how grievously wounded "Rhaegar" was.
If skinchanging was involved, then Lyanna never had to bodily leave the tower, and survived the Trident through spiritually returning to her original body, and her bed of blood was in fact caused by birthing Jon. If Lyanna had a consensual affair with her impressive guard Ser Arthur, it would dovetail nicely with another aspect of Arthurian legend, in which Sir Lancelot has an affair with Queen Guinevere at his castle
Joyous
Guard, despite his close friendship with King Arthur. The Sword of the Morning and the Demon of the Trident are not the only candidates for Jon's father; Oswell Whent is also a potential sire, in light of the parallel in which Cersei instructs Osney Kettleblack (who some believe is Oswell's son) to seduce Margaery to remove her as Queen; the rebels may have instructed Oswell to ensure Lyanna became pregnant, to dissuade Robert from marrying her so that he'd be free to wed Cersei to keep the Lannister's support, or to stage a death in childbirth so that Lyanna would be unable to spread the truth of her imprisonment. The idea that Lyanna became pregnant while confined also parallels Daena the Defiant's pregnancy despite her imprisonment in the Maidenvault.
On that note,
unless Martin lied, it's indisputable that Lyanna gave birth to Jon... but when? Skinchanging removes the hinderance of a swollen belly and other bodily limitations, but if Lyanna did in fact fight while pregnant, she was perhaps not as far along as we're led to believe. If we accept that Jon was born roughly 8-9 moons before Dany, as Martin states, then the only way to adjust Jon's birth is to then assume Dany isn't who she thinks she is, that she wasn't born 9 moons after Rhaella's flight. Beyond typical lemongate reasons to doubt Dany's past, there's a discrepancy in which Viserys tells Dany of a midnight flight to Dragonstone, whereas Jaime recalls Rhaella and Viserys departing in the morning. This casts doubt on both Dany and Viserys's origins and allows us leeway to adjust Jon's birthdate. Lyanna giving birth before the Trident is possible, and though Robb is supposedly older than Jon, it's hard to pin down exactly when Robb was born; Jon could be older than Robb without it being noticed, as infants can differ greatly in size and development, as seen with Gilly and Mance's sons.
Speaking of
Mance Rayder, I’m pretty confident he's Arthur Dayne.
So, given everything we're told about what kind of person Lyanna was, along with parallels between her and Arya involving swordplay and disguises, it's easy to see that rather than being the Knight of the Laughing Tree, Lyanna fought when it mattered most, to avenge her family at the Trident, against the man who truly dishonored her.
In the next part, we'll gaze into King Robert's magic mirror, Queen Cersei, to uncover strong evidence that he had Rhaegar tortured for the crime of crowning his betrothed. To preview where this series is headed, in its full audio/visual glory with greater detail,

2023.05.31 18:50 TechTaxi [USA-TX] [H] "MSI 4070 Ti Ventus 2X", Intel® Compute Stick, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB, Gigabyte AORUS RGB 3600MHz CL18 16GB (2x8GB) RAM , 4x Power Cords [W] Local Cash/PayPal
Hey guys, I'm cleaning out my storage and selling the extra PC parts/electronics I have. I'm local to
Houston if you're interested in meeting locally. Here are the electronics/parts and their prices/descriptions:
- "MSI 4070 Ti Ventus 2X"
- I always thought that the lack of a small dual slot card for higher end 40 series GPUs was disappointing. So I made my own "MSI 4070 Ti Ventus 2X" by heat sink swapping to get 3090 Ti level performance in a compact package. I'm letting this one go at cost for SFF enthusiasts who want to build in the Velka 5, Velka 7, Dan A4, ZS-A4S, etc. but don't have experience/aren't comfortable with GPU modding. Its priced a bit more than the MSRP because the donor GPU had to be sold at a loss as well as getting materials for the swap itself.
- Condition: Used for thermal benchmarks to compare before/after results from custom swapping the 4070 Ti PCB into a Ventus 2X heatsink. Since the GPU is custom modded, it won't have a factory warranty and has slight cosmetic imperfections, but has been tested thoroughly and functions normally.
- Price: $950 shipped, $900 local
- Intel® Compute Stick
- Condition: Used, in great condition and comes with the original power brick. The compute stick has been wiped and has a fresh install of Windows 11 Home via the Tiny11 compiler to remove bloatware/telemetry as well as bypass Windows 11's RAM/TPM requirements. Its a decent computer for light browsing, but not much more.
- Model: STK1AW32SC (CS125)
- CPU: Intel® Atom™ x5-Z8300
- RAM: 2GB DDR3L-1600
- Storage: 32GB eMMC (Windows does take a good chunk of this, but the compute stick's storage can be expanded via a microSD card)
- Price: $30 shipped or $23 local
- Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB in Argon One m.2 SSD Case
- Condition: Open box/used. The Raspberry Pi and CanaKit power supply was purchased used on eBay while all the accessories were purchased new but never used. The Pi was attached to the upper half of the Argon One case with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme as the TIM and the SATA SSD installed to the lower half of the case; however rubber feet hasn't been attached.
- It was originally intended for a HomeKit project, but I never got around to doing it. You can use it for your own home automation/server project, as an emulator, etc. The set includes:
- Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB
- Argon One m.2 SDD Case w/ internal 30mm fan, IR sensor, and two full sized HDMI ports
- CanaKit power supply
- ADATA 240GB m.2 2280 SATA SSD (SU650NS38)
- Price: $125 shipped or $110 local
- Gigabyte AORUS RGB 3600MHz CL18 16GB (2x8GB) RAM
- Condition: Used, but in excellent condition without any performance issues and is low profile for use in SFF/ITX cases.
- SKU: GP-AR36C18S8K2HU416R
- Memory Size: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
- Frequency: DDR4-3600 MHz
- Timing: 18-19-19-39 (XMP 3600MHz)
- Height: 39mm
- Price: $75 shipped, $65 local
- 4 x 25 Foot, 18 AWG Power Cords
- Condition: In brand new condition, haven't been used. They're great for PSUs, monitors, TVs, laptop power bricks, etc.
- UL-listed with a female 3-pin IEC320C13 connector (see timestamp) to a male 3-prong grounded NEMA 5-15P plug (U.S. Type)
- Price: $10 shipped each/$30 shipped for all or $5 local each/$20 local for all

2023.05.31 15:59 efyudi42 GPU fans turned full speed and display gone blank
So a month ago my GPU (GTX 1070Ti, required 8 pin connector) fans suddenly started spinning like crazy, at max speed. The fan stop light came on and the display was gone.
I sent it for repair from a local repair shop. I recieved it back a week ago, tried running it, it hardly ran 10 mins and did the exact same thing. And now the display is gone again.
I have sent him the card back, and he says it is working fine for him since I gave him.
Do you guys know, what could be the issue? I took my PC and had it checked by another person using another GPU ( required 6 pin connector). The PC ran fine for 10-15 mins.
Could it be related to power connector pins? Or could this entirely be a GPU thing? I have been using it for years now and it never crashed like that.

2023.05.31 15:22 Prestigious-Fold-876 Maze of Tartarus - Tips and Tricks
Hello friends! This is uncle Papi again!
Since I couldn't find a definite guide for the Maze of Tartarus anywhere, I'll try to share some tips on this hard challenge for all players that are having difficulty and want help to progress.
This post is by no means the optimal way to do. I'll just share here what worked for me on my journey from 1F to 30F. Hopefully some of the information will be helpful to someone.
Please be welcome to share your stories or contribute as well!
Some tips beforehand:
1- There is a summary of each boss, listing its elemental chart (weaknesses/resistances) and ailment resists, as well as its type. That way, you can take full advantage of elemental weaknesses and slayers, which you
SHOULD as much as you can.
2- Pay attention to each scenario, as most of them are special floors and some arks have synergy or special effects on them.
1F: Skull Lord x3. Team: SM Lilebette, Kyle, Eliza and Rei.
Strategy: I was very excited in my first fight! SM Lilebette was responsible to deal the damage, since monsters are weak to earth. Kyle, Rei and Eliza served as mana batteries, spamming Honey Elixir on SM Lilebette to keep the damage going.
2F: Elements x6 (one of each type). Team: Shin, Gravein, AoG Baran and Gaoul.
Strategy: Since each spirit has different resist/weaknesses, I decided to approach with neutral damage. AoG baran has native SCT sustain and the other characters were there just to use buffs/debuffs.
3F: Medrone, Winged Menace x2. Team: Vaughn, Carol Nº 4, Romel and Lily.
Strategy: The birds start flanking you (one on each side), so your primary goal should be bringing them to the same side to cleave them with skills, hitting both at the same time. They are weak to fire, so Vaughn had an easy time breaking them.
Romel and Carol were mainly responsible for buffs/debuffs, while Vaughn had Honey Elixir to keep the damage going.
4F: Gold Dabourne (a lot of waves). Team: Meredy, DXR-MK02.
Strategy: Very easy floor since the monsters are weak to instant death. I had Meredy and DXR-MK02 equipped with Death God skill. Things were looking very good until I reached next floor.
5F: Saint Pokkle. Team: Melza, Tinkili and Vergil
Strategy: This is where things start to get complicated, since you just get out of a very easy floor into a very hard one.
The boss will likely 1-shot your unit if:
- The unit is weak to light
- The unit is not a plant.
That being considered, I had Melza built full tank. Since she has a very high light resist, she didn't take too much damage and she could did double duty as a healer. Tinkili had buffs/debuffs and Vergil came in with damage, using his special on CD to be immune to flinch.
Positioning here is very important, as Vergil needed to stay behind the boss to avoid being cleaved together with Melza. I stacked a lot of movement speed on him so he could close the gap faster. Also, his S1 teleports him straight behind the enemies, which made the job easier.
The boss will sometimes cast Star Verse, which will hit VERY hard, so Magic Barrier, Shadow Wall, Metis, Lostoma (on the boss) and Decoy can help you survive.
6F: Nocturne Tinkili and Fan Sahagin x3. Team: Mia, Dabourne, Pokkle, Ghost.
Strategy: The fight is not hard. The enemies are easily grouped and are weak to thunder.
The boss will likely 1-shot your unit if:
- The unit is male.
That being considered, use monsters and/or female units to deal with the floor. The Sahagins, if left unchecked, can hit very hard, so be sure to nuke them down or use a female tank if you want (Maddine, Melza, etc.).
When the boss is low, she will use a Dark special which will hit hard, watch out for that.
7F: Lightning Myura (and his offsprings) x1. Team: Gorm, Logia, Shida and Lilebette.
Strategy: The boss is weak to earth and casting magic is the way to go. I don't have many casters, so I decided to go for physical damage instead. The boss is resistant to shadow but you can always lower its resistance with Weak and Circles.
Also, bring resistance to stun, since the boss will hit like a truck if a unit is stunned. Also, avoid staying at the edges of the room, since the boss can pin you there and do a lot of damage (dont know if it was a bug or intencional).
The boss itself is vulnerable to ailments, so Logia + Annula Melth did the trick, while Gorm tanked and Shida did the damage. Lilebette was responsible for healing and buffs/debuffs/revives as needed.
Arks/skills that trigger effects on kill are very useful, since there are many mobs that keep appearing during the fight.
8F: Igneed x2. Team: SLeona, Gobl, SMaddine and Zekus.
Strategy: Easy fight. The boss is very breakable and weak to ice. The main catch is the fire attack that he launches when close to death but there are many ways to lower its damage (Walls, Buffs, Debuffs, etc.). Gobl and SLeona were responsible for breaking the boss, while SMaddine and Zekus were responsible for buffs/debuffs, respectively. SLeona also did the damage.
9F: Ancient Ritual Remants x1. Team: Ardine, Hobgobl, Sahagin, Barcello.
Strategy: I'm not going to lie, all characters here were just used as mana batteries for Ardine, which ripped through everything with his
neutral damage.
Arks/skills that trigger effects on kill are very useful, since there are many waves of mobs that keep appearing during the fight.
10F: Gold Gaoul x1. Team: Lanceveil, Davan, Duran and Beyland.
Strategy: The boss has a VERY high defense and you can't use any spells, so debuffs that are activated on "Battle Start" are very useful here. Davan and Ghost Hime ark both have that (in Drain and Spirit Riot).
Your DPS want skills that bypass defense, such as Piercing/Diabolos skills or the Terror of the Grana Seas ark + axe equipped.
11F: Lightning Pablaboria x1. Team: Riesz, Leona, Leena and Dyne.
Strategy:
That -500 thunder resist IS A TRAP!!! The boss ABSORBS thunder, so the goal is to deal earth damage instead. Being immune to flinch is nice, if you can afford to (via units or arks).
The boss will spawn 4 creatures that, if not killed, will turn into new Pablos. If you manage to kill all 4 of them, the boss will instantly break. This is when you should go all out on damage.
Leena took care of healing and buffing, while Riesz/Dyne acted as mana batteries for Leona.
12F: Soul Eater (a lot of waves). Team: AoG Zouglas, OG Alice, Yashamaru and Princess Lilah.
Strategy: Death God works against the ghosts... IF you can manage to hit them. Yashamaru did the work, while OG Alice acted as a mana battery for him and AoG Zouglas gathered the ghosts to make things easier. Lilah was there for healing, since the ghosts can dish out some damage.
13F: Beast Abeliol x1. Team: DB Rei, SLanceveil, Vazard and Theria.
Strategy: The boss will alternate into being weak to earth or thunder, so you have windows to do damage. Besides, he'll attack with different spells (thunder and ice) depending on his "stance", so bring Walls accordingly.
Also, be careful on what kind of elemental you use on the boss. I didn't test everything but I found that if you hit him with light, he'll get empowered and wipe the floor with you.
He can be broken and that helps a lot. You can do the fight without a healer but you'll have a hard time unless you can kill the boss very quickly. Also, I used a thunder team but you can also use an earth team or mix both to take advantage of both "stances".
14F: Divine Beast Rock Mekia. Team: D'dii, Luke, 9S and AoG Lily.
Strategy: The boss starts the fight immune to magic damage but, at 50% hp, he'll switch over to being immune to physical damage, so you need a flex team who can deal both of types of damage.
Also, DO NOT USE ANY ELEMENTALS OTHER THAN DARK OR LIGHT, as the boss will get buffed and wipe you out. This also includes auto-attack, so pay attention to your equipped weapon elementals on the characters you're not manually controlling.
Also, DO NOT USE SPECIALS EARLY ON, as the boss gets resistant to it when you use them. Save them for when the boss is close to dying, so you can finish him off.
It is a good idea to have your caster do the same type of damage as your dps (because of Circles and other synergies). Also, the boss is vulnerable to blind and other ailments.
D'dii took care of the healing and ailments, 9S handled buffs and revives, Luke dealt with the 1st phase and AoG Lily dealt with the 2nd phase.
15F: Godhunter Shin x1, Yashamaru x1. Team: Roland, 2B, PT Robin and Luger.
Strategy: Ignore Shin for now, just focus Yashamaru. Be careful with his clones and try to find the real Yashamaru and nuke him down. Since he has SCT Theft, you need Honey Elixir to keep your skills going.
PT Robin and Luger were there as batteries for 2B and Roland. After Yashamaru dies, focus on Shin. When he's close do death he'll use his Special non-stop, so try to save your special/skill stocks to nuke him down when he gets to about 30%.
Since they are human type, a lot of arks can help in this fight.
16F: Thunder Babat (a lot of waves). Team: AoG Degrogue, Dark Melza and Lukiel.
Strategy: The bats are vulnerable to instant death, so Death God can be used here. Dark Melza/Lukiel were just used as mana batteries for AoG Degrogue.
If you have enough thunder resistance on AoG Degrogue, you won't need a tank or healer.
As in every stage with waves, having on-kill skills (pose of victory/glory/honor) is very useful.
17F: PB-SWEEPER G x1 (and his robots). Team: Eren, SZekus, Saint Lilebette and Warlock Leena.
Strategy: The boss flies, so you need ranged attackers or casters. The boss also slams the ground below him, dealing huge amount of damage. Abuse buffs, debuffs, weak, circles, etc.
When you kill the 2 flying bots, the boss will keep spamming robots to annoy you.
Since SZekus can be near immortal with Goddess Kiss, this fight was not too hard.
18F: Gold Grammos (a lot of waves). Team: SEliza.
Strategy: As I was starting to come short on good units to use and wanted to save some for the later floors, I had to compromise efficiency with availability.
SEliza was perfectly capable to solo this floor, as long as she could take some hits, as the Gold Grammos hit
very hard. Movement speed is key here and it might be useful if you can teach SEliza God Heal (just in case).
19F: Grandworm x3. Team: SMeredy, Robin, Blood Rose (don't laugh!) and Angela.
Strategy: This fight is VERY annoying if it doesnt start well. It took me a lot of tries to get it right.
Robin needs to be 5-star here, as he gets the very useful skill Stun Research. If you count his auto-attacks (16 hits), he can apply stun VERY easily just spamming his auto-attack. The SR Ark Eternal Clock De=Rowe is very useful on him because it increases the duration of his stuns by 30%.
Blood Rose was used as a healer and buffedebuffer, while SMeredy acted as a dps (using only her S2, which is ice-based) and Angela rocked her ice magic.
20F: White Knight Melza x1, Gallant Flame Vaughn x1, Ice Emperor Seilios x1. Team: SGoroth, SRoland, GA Lukiel and Zleorg.
Strategy: This fight can be hard because when Vaughn and Seilios are close to dying, they get a HUGE damage buff, so they need to die ASAP. Try to spread the damage but not too much to the point where they all get low at the same time.
Melza herself can be a pain because of her guard skill that activates a lot and she HEALS while guarding, so bring units/skills/arks that can pierce that guard (Shockwave skill, for example). Another useful tip is to lower her ailments resist and try to inflict illness on her, negating all her healing (it worked wonders).
After Melza dies, she gets reborn as Dark Melza, dealing dark damage instead of light. Zleorg was surprisingly useful this fight and Dark Melza is VERY susceptible to breaking, so SGoroth kept her permanently broken while SRoland destroyed her.
GA Lukiel was crucial in the 1st part of the fight to nuke Vaughn and Seilios without risk of them getting uber buffed.
21F: Tetrodon x1 (and his companions). Team: Goroth, Murren and Seilios.
Strategy: Yikes, the boss will inflict you with
LOTS of ailments, so come prepared! Also, the stage's special effect lowers your max HP and the boss' special also lowers it even further!
I used my SC to get all status resistances that I could and used accessories to resist what I could.
Murren could probably have soloed it but it would take too long, since he needed to cast Honey Elixir and kept getting interrupted.
22F: Abaddon the All-consuming x1, Tentacle x3. Team: Claire & Dalgion, Zaix, Yuri and Saintly Theria.
Strategy: More ailments and heavy shadow damage. The boss is VERY susceptible to breaking, so Zaix did the job with Claire's help, while Zaix and Yuri did the damage and Saintly Theria took care of keeping the team healthy.
23F: Star Jelly x1 (Thanks Tony for the advice on improving my time here!). Team: Maddine, Doura.
Strategy: This fight looks very hard at first sight, until you notice the boss attack pattern. It COPIES your attacks! Taking advantage of that, if you use the spell Soul Spark (which is a suicidal spell), the boss will copy it and suicide.
Take notice, however, that it still deals a ton of damage, so bring some means to stay alive (Determination, Decoy, Shadow Wall, Magic Barrier, Metis, etc.).
24F: Yggdrasil x1, King Pokkle x1, Spirit x1, Pokkle x1, Death Plant x1 and Gaoul x1. Team: SMelza, BB Shin and Dilmordo.
Strategy: Very easy floor. Not too much to say here: they're all weak to fire. Bring some means to recover SCT (Pose of Glory, Honey Elixir, etc.) and you're good to go!
25F: Cryofoul Medrone x1. Team: Nero, Graphel, TB Sevia and V.
Strategy: Foul indeed, this fight was VERY hard for me. So many opportunities to fail the fight when things were apparently going well!
The key here was to use V to keep the boss stunned and use Graphel to dish out damage. TB Sevia did the healing/reviving (worked a lot in this fight) and Nero helped with the damage.
Bring resistance to Illness, as the boss can inflict it. And most importantly: don't lose heart and keep trying!
26F: Greaver, Abyssal Spirit x1. Team: Alphonse, Stahn, Alice and Sera.
Strategy: The boss starts the fight summoning some skeleton adds. After you kill the adds, the boss will become immune to both physical and magical damage (specials still work).
How do you get around it? The answer is simple: BREAKING! Stahn is there for this reason and, once the boss is broken for the 1st time, it will take damage normally and will summon the skeleton adds again during the fight.
Be careful because the boss uses dark attacks and spells and they hurt. Sera is there to keep the team alive, while Alice can take care of the adds and Stahn can take care of the boss. Alphonse tried to gather the skeletons for Alice.
27F: Holy Gourmet Phagodelus x1. Team: Vayne.
Strategy: I thought this was a good time to use my Trishula, so I gave it to Vayne and he soloed the stage. Just bring some health and earth resistance and you're good to go!
The boss saps MP, so things like Proud Force or Dusk are not very useful here.
28F: Burning Fortress Gabord x2. Team: SBeyland, Sevia, Maja and SM Theria.
Strategy: Very hard fight for me. I had to start using the big guns or I wouldn't be able to progress. Sevia is very useful because her special
HALVES ALL DAMAGE! And it fills very quickly, so you can easily maintain 100% uptime.
The boss alternates into being resistant to physical and magical damage, so you need both here. SBeyland and Maja did the job.
The boss does fire damage so bring resistance!
29F: Venom Dragon Babalaad x1. Team: Skeleton, Adel, AoG Mayly and Phal.
Strategy: This boss can be deceptively strong because of its mechanic. By itself, it doesnt to a whole lot of damage. However, if one of your characters is poisoned, it deals HUGE damage to them! And to make things worse, the boss CAN LOWER YOUR AILMENTS RESISTANCE! So be above immune to poison to have an easy time here.
The boss can be made vulnerable to ailments, so Phal and Mayly kept it under control with Stun Research. Meanwhile Adel discharged all his fury onto the boss.
30F: None other than El'dravahna, the Imperator himself! x1. Team: SGorm, Lelouche, Joker and Lougseus.
Strategy: Not too much to say, the boss hits very hard and has a lot of HP. It can be broken, altought I only had those 4 units left and not much room to wiggle.
SGorm was very useful because he used his buff on Joker to make him tougher. Lelouch is very tough himself and was the main MVP in this fight with Grand Aura/Brave Phaser and Goddess Kiss. Lougseus was my healedebuffer while Joker was my mana battery for Lelouch.
I saved my "Absolute Power of Obedience" when I had all stocks full and when the boss was close to dying, so he wouldn't pull any tricks on me.
-
Keep in mind, folks, that this is NOT an easy content. It's hard, it can be frustrating at times but it feels really good when you manage to clear another floor!
If you're having a hard time, do not feel shy to take a break and build up more units (or try to acquire some). I litteraly used ALL units I have on my account and almost all of my arks.
All units that I used have learned all ark skills that I can, as it allowed me for diversity and to use the worst units as mana batteries or supports/tanks.
Also, all units that I used were at least lvl 110 (5-enhance), with the exception of SRoland and Lelouche who are 6-enhance. All units are also at least 4-awaken (with most being 6-awaken and SRoland being 8-awaken).
And that's the end of my journey through Tartarus. I hope you find this information useful!

2023.05.31 14:36 CeeSak30 Please help this noob with this first split layout build.
Hi, this might be a very noobish question. So, my friends and I are trying to build a custom split keyboard. This is our very first time making any keyboard. Since this might be the only keyboard we will make, we have added all the features we wanted, like number rows, a 6-key thumb cluster, a knob, and an OLED screen (128*32 px). We thought that the pins available in a Pro Micro or a similar microcontroller would not be sufficient, and to make it future-proof, we decided to go for the Raspberry Pi Pico, which uses the RP2040 chip. We also plan to add LEDs later (only one color fixed for backlighting). Here comes my question: as we (my friends and I) are not well-versed in microcontrollers, we are at a loss right now. We cannot find any proper guide for the RP2040. For example, what pins should we assign for what purpose? Can we make it QMK or ZMK compatible? And can we incorporate a toggle switch for switching layers? If yes, then how? Our design is an ErgoDox Infinity with a knob. For each side, we need 13 (8+5) pins; for the rotary encoder, three pins; for the OLED screen, two pins; and for the TRS connector, three pins. Adding an rp2040 pinout for quick reference along with our key layout. https://preview.redd.it/gfodcnkvd73b1.png?width=1450&format=png&auto=webp&s=09c1756fbeec6d064d949838a34280f8a6f9bb58 https://preview.redd.it/zh4csqrud73b1.png?width=1338&format=png&auto=webp&s=5e605641022ddb8688d290166599c42532afde9a https://preview.redd.it/5qz6ncwsd73b1.png?width=1072&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f375acb14bbc2ed4c0adaebb3e77878aa8cc4c3 submitted by CeeSak30 to ErgoMechKeyboards [link] [comments]
2023.05.31 13:10 alpha0meqa 4090 suprim x liquid cables
Hello,
Just wondering if I can actually use 3 8 pin connector for this psu? Or should I just get a 12vhpwr cable? I'm running a rm1000e psu and currently using a 6900xt phantom gaming that uses 3 8pin connectors.

2023.05.31 11:52 DirtyTechno1 Kolink CL500 PSU
so I'm building a pc for my nephew and he wanted to try his old power supply on his new system. It's a 13500 with a 4060 TI
I'm aware this PSU is probably right on the edge of what is required what it's what I currently have to work with.
My question is:
None of the cables are marked, I just want to make sure I'm plugging the right cable into the 12v ATX CPU header.
There's a 6+2 pin which I assume is PCI-E ?
Then there's an 8pin (red connector) which I assume is for the 12v ATX
Can anybody verify that this is the case? and also will the 13500 work with just one 12v ATX 8-pin? as the motherboard has 2 x 8-pin connections
Thanks guys

2023.05.31 11:42 ssbowtie1 Can I find the parts I need in the US or do I need to order internationally?
Hi all, I'm trying to remake and shorten my Silverstone 850r SFX PSU cables, not looking to sleeve anything at the moment. I can get the MDPC CTX3 crimping tool and pin removal tool from Titan rig, but I still need the following:
atx female crimp terminals
cable wires
12vhpwr cable wires (I believe I need 17awg thin wall for this?)
12vhpwr sense wires
12vhpwr plugs
12vhpwr terminals
fan connectors
fan crimp terminals
replacement atx and eps connectors would be nice as well instead of butchering the factory cables
Titan Rig seems to be out of stock of almost everything needed, and MDPC makes ordering easier since you know you're ordering the right components, but I'd prefer not to ship internationally if possible. Anyways, has anyone had success ordering all their supplies from the US, and if so can you share where/part numbers? Also, if anyone has advice on any other parts I may be missing I would appreciate it!

2023.05.31 11:39 wildbillkelsoe thrustmaster warthog stick 5 pin din connector pinout?
Hi I want to remove the two piece male female din interface from the stick to the base board (the one running through the hole in the gimbal) to forever keep them attached straight in and avoid having this signal problem in windows controller. The base has a 6 pin ribbon cable (of which one wire is missing) and the stick has a 5 pin ribbon cable in addition to the ground big lug wire. I need someone to tell me which pins go where between the wires. I followed the sequence of the wires left to right betweeb connectors and in reverse but it now just recognizes the axis in reverse and no button presses being registered. submitted by wildbillkelsoe to hotas [link] [comments]
2023.05.31 07:56 oitullopsutinos Computer crashes without a clear pattern, it's been driving me insane
Disclaimer: I'm not very knowleageable about computers, everything I know I learned very recently because of all of this and don't completely understand, I may get a lot of stuff wrong.
A few months ago I replaced my old garbage AMD GPU with a used GTX 770 that I bought for cheap on OLX and ever since I installed it, my computer has been very unstable. I can use the computer like normal for hours but then I try to do something basic like opening a new tab or the windows start menu and the computer shuts off and the fans start spinning at full speed. Most of the time this happens while gaming, but the other case is more informal of how weird this issue is.
The games I play usually run very smooth with high graphics settings. Lower graphics settings seem to delay the crashes but still don't fix them
I frequently perform tests while monitoring the temperatures with MSI Afterburner / RivaTuner and they are usually pretty low when the computer crashes, so I don't think it's overheating. I have also tried running FurMark, Cinebench, Heaven Benchmark and 3D Mark tests and ironically the computer almost never crashed on those.
What my computer has gone through since this all started: - The GPU and CPU were heating up way too much since neither had ever been repasted. Repasting both lowered the temperatures significantly, which made the crashes less frequent.
- My 500w PSU lacked the 8 pin connector I needed for the GPU. I used an adapter but later found out that's not recommended. The wattage was also a bit low for my configuration and the PSU had failed in the past so I bought a new one rated 600w with the proper connectors. The old PSU blew up the day the new one arrived.
- I had one stick of 8Gb of RAM installed. I bought and installed a second one with a slightly higher clock rate (knowing it would be underclocked to match the other one) just because it was the same price.
- Installed more fans to the case.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled graphics drivers multiple times.
- Removed remainders of AMD drivers and clean installed NVIDIA drivers again.
- Tried undervolting both GPU and CPU.
- Updated motherboard BIOS.
- Removed and reinstalled all components multiple times.
- Tried running the computer with only the system drive.
- Verified and corrected system files and drive.
- Checked Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor multiple times only to be greeted with "Hardware Error, LiveKernelEvent 1b8"
Specs, I guess?: Motherboard: ASUS H81M-C/BR CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 with stock cooler GPU: EVGA GTX 770 SC with 2Gb VRAM RAM: 2x Kingston KVR16N11/8WP Storage: Kingston 500Gb SSD, Toshiba 500Gb HDD, 500Gb HDD, 1Tb HDD

2023.05.31 05:15 forsayken What SFX PSU to use with a GPU that requires 3x 8-pin power connectors?
I'm considering a 7900xtx and I can't find any SFX PSUs that have 3+ PCI-e 8-pin ports. I see a bunch that have four 8-pin outputs that all look identical but they are for CPU or a combo or something. This is new to me coming from regular form factor PSUs. But the PSUs seem to only come with two PCI-e cables. I know the CPU cables have a different port so I can't use those (and they're not compatible with PCI-e ports to begin with) so why are they the same on the PSU? Would I be able to acquire an additional PCI-e cables and connect three (with the fourth being used for the CPU)?
Edit: Thank you, all! Answered my questions perfectly.

2023.05.31 04:09 iiAdonutii Black screen after installing new gpu 5,1 Mac Pro
I just got a radeon Vega 56 to put into my mac pro. I used a dual mini 6 pin to 8 pin adapter and a single 8 pin to dual 6+2 pin splitter to power the card. When the machine is powered on, the card lights up and fans spin as normal but nothing comes up on the screen. Even after about 5 minutes of waiting nothing shows up. Plugging in the original 5770 with one of the 6 pin connectors from the splitter gives me the same results. The computer will only boot with the oem 6 pin cable and gpu combo. Any ideas on where I messed up? I also tried using the vega 56 in a pc and verified it works. I also tried plugging in to an evga powerlink and no display there either. Any help is appreciated.

2023.05.31 03:11 Lookathebrightside Reterminating W.Lav for Sony
Hey all. I recently picked up a pair of sony uwp-d21 and a deity w.lav pro. I have a little bit if soldering experience and figured I could probably figure out how to reterminate it, but it looks like I've overestimated myself and am struggling to get this finished up.
The lav has a red (mic signal?) and a white (ground?) cable as well as the shielding. The connector (
this one ) has the standard trs pinouts. I can't seem to figure out which wire needs to be connected to which pin. I've tried a bunch of different combos but without luck. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

2023.05.31 03:09 lozergod Replacement dual fan AIO question.
I bought my son a:
Gaming RDY TMRRG206]Windows 10 Home, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, ASUS PRIME B450M-A MB, GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GPU, 16GB DDR4-3200MHz ADATA RGB RAM, 512GB ADATA M.2 NVMe SSD, iBUYPOWER RGB Liquid Cooling machine a few years ago and it started overheating so I was sent a replacement AIO. The one sent is a dual fan AIO and the original one was a single one. I was able to mount the new one underneath the top of the case and connect it with no issues. The Heat sink however is a different story. It has two connections, i assume one for the lights and the other for the cpu fan. I was able to connect the one for the lights with no problem but the 3 pin female connector for the cpu fan (i assume) can't connect to any of my existing motherboard connections. Do I need to get a female to male extension or something. Any help would be appreciated.
